perfect :)
I dont use this. It's great, but it's another gun oil. I live in the far north. We hit -30 every year. Most gun oils become friction points below -10. I use amsoil... but I only use 0w40 amsoil WITH anticorrosives. It's thick enough when it's warm. And it still has lubricity in the severe negatives. Only tips are "make sure you republication after shooting". You'll still never have to buy a bottle more than once every 2 or 3 years.
Relubricate* Republication was autocorrect.
Because it’s double the viscosity of most other brands. Which makes it not suitable for oil injected applications like my 50cc scooter.
Fantastic product ❤thanks
Great oil! I wish I could run 0w-30 in my Jeep Gladiator 3.6
Im in need of help, i changed the whole housing and it came with the new filter but now its giving me a code P06DD What can i do?
Same here. Been scouring the interwebs for the last 2 weeks and all i can find is changing the oil pump solenoid. I'm hesitant because it was functioning properly before I changed the housing. If you find an answer tag me.
Great vid of information. I also liked his casual breakfast table talk with having his cup of coffee in hand while presenting their product. I like that. ❤❤❤❤
Another excellent video Ches! :) Keep up the good work. Your videos are very informative and are enjoyed by thousands of people. We want more of your great videos. :)
Zero turn spindles?
Full synthetic valvolin transmission cvt is the best.
I have read several great reviews on Valvoline CVT. I used the standard trans fluid in my van for 150K with no problems. It is also reasonably priced at $11 a quart.
in reality there is no such oil is bad oil, they are all tested and approved, change your oil more often is always better = common sense
I see that Dorman (along with a host of Chinese no-names) now provides a replacement valve fix for older housings with the valve built into the housing.
So my 98 Mercury Grand Marquis with 79,000 mi i just got in pretty sure rear diff fluid has never been changed, calls for motorcraft 80w90 but this seems better, because its synthetic right? The 80w90 of course
Baldwin b7379 will fit and has Napa and O’Reilly equiv. Rated at 9 microns. So will ford 6.7 filters but those are 20 microns.
The 2016 T&C that I just bought used has the solid-hex cap, and the bypass filter is built into the cap. I guess somehow they used the older filter housing in my car. Of course, all catalogs and guides for my car lead to the wrong filter. I haven't read or heard of this difference anywhere else...so, thanks much.
Bro amsoil should come out with a filter that has 10% of the filter that does 2 microns.. instead of this system..
That would greatly restrict oil flow to vital engine parts and cause engine damage.
@@HiTechOilCo then have more pleats of fabric filtering the oil you fool
@@HiTechOilCo so adding more pleats and filter surface area allows same oil flow. What are you like 85 IQ?
Not nocking it just never tried Amsoil since trying shaffers.
Well i purchased thier filters but i went with Shaffers supreme 9000 oil.i like it
Had dealership change oil the last time, now my oil temp sensor code is on. I bought a new filter and oil cap will add when change the oil again. Will this help?
Which is best for lubricity?
Can you paint amsoil HD over existing rust? Also is amsoil lanolin based?
What is the voltage of the motor 12v or 5v?
Good job with the video! I’ve been a dealer for 27 years and you answered some questions that I had!
Klotz R50 for me..
30 degrees or less is extreme cold? Where I'm from, that's three seasons of the year...

YOU ARE SO HELPFUL, THANK YOU!
there is absolutely no way I would run 100:1 or 80:1 in my 1600 dollar Stihl 500i or any of my other saws. that's insanity.
Use oem no problem
Hi, I'm chasing recommendations for Manual gear oil & differential oils. Not sure what best suits synchromesh in gearboxes. There seems to be a few choices on eBay but limited description. Vehicle is a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder R51 2.5 TD. Thanks, Mark.
Another shill for Amsoil. All this goof needs is an Amsoil hat and tattoos.
What do you recommend?
Is there a store like this in the Los Angeles area? been wanting to try.
How about an STP filter?
do you have a retail account with amsoil? if yes do they charge you upfront or when you sell the products. thanks in advance.
I changed the oil filter and few seconds after the spring flew over. Thank you for this video it is very helpful.
Im sold, gonna order a case of each on payday
I just inherited a 97 tahoe (2WD, 250K miles) with a posi-trac that was bought new by my family that calls for 80w90. Would it need the extra friction multiplayer additive if I used the Amsoil 80w90 severe Gear oil or just the oil alone? Thanks.
Also is another brand Mannol CVT NS3, i would like to try it but is difficult to find, This German Oil its a good brand in engine and gears.
Wouldn't a po code pop up if this was happening to your vehicle?
I'm pretty much like OMG just cut to the chase. ALL Tecumseh Snow King flat heads...like yours....being 8HP-9HP-10HP-10.5HP all use 5W30 in cold temps and 26 ounces from full hot drain. Hot drain takes about 15 minutes. 28 ounces is just fine.
100:1 is almost no oil...
This stuff is great ,been using it for years
Now I’m scared but you’ve convinced me to dig in there and see how it is. What tool is that to remove trim?
I had a Ford Van with 165.000 miles on it without an oil change. When I swapped over to Amsoil my temp gauge on the dash dropped noticably. I ran a bypass filter and added oil when swapping filters. I was friends with a Navy lubricaiton engineer, Norfolk VA. He drove a Chevette with a trailer from Norfolk to CA with a block on the gas peddle. 10 days later he was back with the car running. I really did not think he'd make it back in the hot summer on top of that (1986).
Perfect! Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for. It's snowing today here in VT and before I start my snowblower I want to change the oil but I forgot how much I needed.
The big deal is the signature is a group 4 with some group 5. Redline oil is a 4 with even more group 5 Esther. And where scar tests redline always edges out Amsoil signature
Does the Cherokee 3.2 have the same filter cap issue?
A Spyder drove up beside her and took Ms Muffet's breath away kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWWgqtGHd5W5eMo.htmlsi=tF2xL9IKFI1Bf7D6
Apparently, All the Pentastar engines have a problem, sometime in their life, with this poorly thought out filter system/placement....This After years of no problems with the "Old Way"on the Older spin on systems.....Happens when they Green Up the work force....
If this happens can you drive the car to shop or will it do more damage?
