Massive growth has ruined McKinney. The small town feel is gone forever
Some of this feels dishonest. When you're talking about Mesquite and show a picture of some other city... I've lived here 44 years and there is no downtown that close
I clicked on this knowing forney would be on the list. Unless something is done on getting to and from there, the property values will plunder. There are two ways to get there, both are 4 lane highways that double as parking lots most of the day. To get from mesquite to the center of forney (I've lived here 44 years and that used to be a short trip) can take over an hour on my lunch break. Warning, don't move to forney unless you plan to rarely leave

It's overheated in McKinney, 10 years it was cheap, now it's too expensive and overcrowded. I also don't think you're from McKinney because McKinney natives have all move out. McKinney has become a place for drifters with no family roots. We don't want drifters in McKinney. Property taxes is 10k per year. Car insurance is 2k a year. So NO, it's too late to buy. No one likes Californians💯

DFW is the best managed Metro in TX. SATX is the worst. Traffic is bad in both but at least many of the Metro Areas around DFW are nice with great amenities.
As someone who lived in SA for a year I completely agree. Yes we have traffic here but for the amount of people that live in DFW it should be far worse
@@LivingDallasFortWorth yep SATX is a shit show and managed by some of the most ignorant people in the State of Texas. The only reason people keep moving to SA is the relatively low cost of living vs other large Metros or they PCS here to one of the Military Instillations. The city has grown exponentially but with no real intelligent developers at the helm, SATX might as well be managed by 3rd Grade School Kids; it is a joke.

From yesterday's news, Frisco police finally identified the 2 persons from Monroe tx being the major 2 suspects killing/hurting Don/Lowe near northern Frisco Walmart last November at night! I and almost every body ( from website comments ) never believe that they can identify the suspects for this murder/injury!. So, you have to give Frisco police high credit - they made Frisco the USA most safe city not only being ranked by major USA medias, but the unbelivable fact!

My advise: Texas white people are not completely what you met in California or New York! Even though most of them are very friendly, there are a small amount of them being extreme such as the one assassianating president Kennedy. If you have an extreme neighbor, this is my way to avoid the worst case scenarios: 1.) Pretend to be like a step-son/step-daughbor and looks very pity! 2.) Try to avoid this person by leaving the community from alternative routes or different time ( Pay more attention from far about him )! Today, Frisco is a very diversified community so that you do not need to worry about this situation unless you move to new cities not too many oriental people.
Recently, there is another popular website ranks Frisco as no. 9 2024 USA best place to live in USA! Also, a New York popular firm which ranks 50 expensive cities in every state; Frisco is ranked as no. 1 in Texas. Recently, Frisco's medium home income is being ranked as no. 8 in the USA closer ranking to Casbad, ca and Santa Clara, ca and Bellevue WA!
Carlsbad, CA, and Santa Clara are fun, interesting, southern Californian cities. Bellevue, WA is expensive, but the natural beauty makes it worth it. Frisco is...not my thing, and that's all I'll say about it. But, if Frisco is your thing, then by all means go for it. Choose happiness.
