The car looks wonderful. I wish I could find a 2008-10 Viper in snakeskin green like this. I have always owned a model of each of my cars through the years, but this is the one that has eluded me.
Should look awesome with the blue and white wheels 👍👍👍
I've just won one of these on ebay for a good price, can't wait to get it done. Its going to be a 56 squadron bird with the overwing tanks on. My favorite jet of all time, and fitting im going to get to do one now i can actually do it justice. My very first model was the 1/72 f2a, done in the green 92 squadron colours and it came out horribly!
1 question, is there a dent in the middle of the bonnet or is the camera making it look like that
Very informative video. Loved the format too. I think leaving the footage in sped up with music allows us to view the process nicely. Epic paint job too mate!!
One of my favorites :)
very cool
Man, this takes me back. Only in the early 90s,the 69 Camaro model kit was molded in flippin' Blue plastic. Was very hard to paint.....especially when you had nothing but the good ol Testors kit brushes. Spray kit came a bit later.
I loved seeing you build this kit. I sur hope you make more.
I'll be honest... I just dont understand why Chris is making this a transkit and not a full kit. To buy an entire kit, just for a chassis, glass and three pieces... What an absolute waste
I use a electrode sharpener i got for 3 bucks, guess it works the same
Super cool kit. Love the amount of detail.
Painting is a feeling, and it’s hard to teach a feeling. Just gotta do it so you know how it feels. Thanks for the great video!
Great looking trans kit from C1 as normal. The green looks good, but what colour are you really going to paint it....
I just found your channel. I just got my first mobius model (Tim Flock's 55 Chrysler 300), and I don't think I will ever buy AMT or Revell again. Yes there is flash and yes there are some awkward instances, but it is manageable without being an expert. And the parts Fit. But I will definitely be trying to find one of these.
I ordered this airbrush today specifically to prime with Stynylrez (UMP), very happy to have found this video as it seems they are the perfect combo.
with one of those escorts having a professionals tie in, could we dare to hope for a good quality ford Capri kit? to be fair I am definitely a Capri guy (first and second car were capris) but I've always liked the RS 2000 especially the Xpack version.
Very cool kit and great you get a kit you've been wanting for so long. Chris's stuff is great and such a nice guy.
Awesome
Great review and great looking upgrade kit, I hope I can get it down under
I'm happy to see the Mark 2 Escort RS2000 in kit form at last, and I have to agree with you on the old Esci/Revell/Italeri Escort rally car kit. I built it about ten years ago and it is pretty awful; the only reason I bought it was that I always loved the Escort and it was such an iconic rally car. Another issue I had with that kit is that I built the Revell RAC Rally winning model, but it had racing slicks rather than proper treaded tyres for a rally car. I know Belkits has done the Mark 1 Escort rally car, but the Mark 2 is long overdue for an all new tool.
What a shame and a missed opportunity to make this kit in a larger scale, that would fly off the shelves
This has flown of the shelves
Hi Paul, this looks as if it is going to be a great build, I owned a Mk 2 Escort way back in my younger years, sadly it was only powered by a 1300cc motor, my dream was always a 1600 version, looking forward to this build, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Hi Paul Great review, I also can't wait to start these iconic kits. Will need to place an order for paints. Chris is also working on a Flat front bodyshell and Harrier transkit.
Looking forward to this one!! I owned a white one in South Africa in 1989!
Ive gone for the X pack and Doyles
Been waiting all day for this Paul !! cant wait !!
Paul, I have a tip for everyone with the glass on their models. I don't know what It's called in the UK, but in the USA it's called Future Floor Polish. It is a crystal clear acrylic that self levels and builds up well with the light coats going through a .2 or .3 needle in an airbrush or can be applied with a brush. It makes the windows much clearer to see through and provides extra protection against hazing and fingerprints. Cheers from The Deep South, USA.
Wow your totally mad lol great build and vid 👍🍺💞🙏💪
very impressive !!!
beautiful work !!!
always prefer speaking rather than music. Your style is much better. thank you
such a shame a worthless kit of an all time classic
Thanks for your review! What a great product. I use cases for nearly every scale model. This is an amazing idea with the wireless LEDs. I hope there will be a european dealer for those products.
That is very cool. I will definitely get this to light up my Nissan Skyline.
Well crap. Now I want one
That's awesome, thanks for sharing Paul 👍🏼👍🏼
I am impressed has got me thinking of what I can do with them
fantastic idea, never see Paul get this giddy over a new piece of kit like a kid in a sweetie shop 😄
Looks good, having no wires makes it look super clean
Very cool product and something I may get. I'm not one to light a kit just do to how much work it is but with that, I may have to.
I’m already imagining future upgrades/additions to this product line. Recordable sound modules for engine/siren/etc sounds? Miniature motors for spinning props/wheels? Very, very cool! Peace and love.
well that is just great Paul, now I'm going to have to see if I can get one
This is a great addition to the models. Received mine a few weeks ago, I had a play around with them in a order build. And they work really well. Currently working on a build, which I'm doing front & rear lights. and a interior light aswell. D.modelkits should be stocking these. The base and extra lights aswell.
Its a very cool product. I'm currently thinking of how to combine these and repelling magnets to try make a levitating lit hover-tank with lights without wires.
Looks cool. Maybe a one off purchase for that special model, like your T50
It's such a great idea this bit of kit isn't it! I've always wanted to add lights to a build but put off by the thought of having to try and install and hide battery packs and switches and soldering.
I wonder about interior down lighting in a truck cab.
Did you talk to them about being a distributer in the UK, Paul?
What a great idea. As you said saves the problem with all the leads and working out the wiring.
