Hi Paul, the build is looking absolutely fantastic, when you said about painting the car white, I thought no way, but when I saw you working on the body I thought (again) that was the correct choice, I should have trusted your judgement, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les

Hi Paul. The build is looking great. I found 2 bottles of testors dull coat here in the US and would like to know how much rapid you use to thin it for the seats? Keep up the awesome work.

About 50% ratio works well. Many thanks :)
Paul. You mentioned that you wait 7 days before polishing clear coat. Is there a reason you do not use a dehydrator. To shorten the wait time. I put my model into the dehydrator for 1.5 hours at 104 F or 113F. Seems to help the finish flow better. Lacquer and Enamel as well as after one part clear coat. Sometimes do this over several days to shorten finishing time.

I’ve used one before and it cracked the decals on my Audi rally car so I said I would never use one again. I work on the body first and by the time the rest is done the body is ready :)

@@InternationalScaleModeller I can see that happening. I always use it to dry base paint coats before decals. My concern was shrinking the body then having fit issues. Not sure that happens but trying to catch any instance of it.
