Yes you can get coins like this on the cheap because you're not willing to pay much for it to begin with. So in one way it's a deal in another way it's not because as all of us serious stackers no not all silver is created equal as far as melt value
I agree, in one way it's a deal in another way it's not. You won't get as much when selling to a coin store unless selling directly to a person wanting that coin. People will pay more for what they want or is popular. So yes I agree

Very true! But like the Balboas they have the purity and grams on the coins. Others don't though. Either way some research or knowledge has to be present!
I believe Panama uses the US dollar as its second form of currency, so many of its coins are patterned after US coins as far as silver content. I too have some Balboas and other foreign silver coins. The only problem is as the percent of silver decreases, many coin shops don't really want them and won't offer you much when you want to sell them. I even had problems selling Canadian silver coins to LCS and they are 80% silver. Right now, there seems to be a surplus of silver and LCS are being picking on what they buy and how much they offer.
Yes they do use the dollar as there second currency. Actually the US copied the account from Spain when they were a world superpower, they influenced our American coinage. I known the US mint actually made some couns for other countries. Yes I agree, they don't want to pay much for other world currencies. And they are getting picky. My guess is if they have trouble selling certain silver coins they avoid them. Thanks for commenting. Happy Stacking buddy!

@@SuperiorStacker a lot of the auctions start at a dollar and only last 10 seconds so if no one’s paying attention you can get really good deals.

I’m not a stacker per say I am more of a coin collector and while checking my collection, I found that I have become a stacker without my knowledge. How did I become a stacker and not even know it? Like I said, I am a coin collector and I have a rather large amount of ASE ( American Silver Eagles). So I got a few ASE albums and filled up 3 of them and still had quite a bit, just sitting loose, so I decided that maybe I should change my direction and deviate from collecting . So I decided to start buying MS 69&70 ( ASE) The only way that I collect MS 69 is for the older years because the MS 70 gets to be quite expensive when the dates get earlier , say from 2017 , and earlier. I’ll buy a MS 70 with the date of 2011-2018 if the price is not too high and I have the money to buy it for less then $160 give or take. So, yeah, if I can afford it I will buy multiple ASE’s of the older ones. So after checking my collection, like I said I found that I have enough different types of silver, and saw that I have enough to be taken as a stacker

I like eagles design better but maple leaves are the way to go with a much better buy/sell spread.

Today silver price is 28,60 Eur and the most popular coin shop in Estonia TAVID is seliing Silver Eagles 50 eur ea Kookaburra 43,50 ea lunar dragon 59,33 ea philharmoniker 41,60 ea Kangaroo 42 eur ea Britannia 41,88 eur ea 30gram Pandas 47,12 eur ea Krugerrand 43 eur ea Maples 44,93 eur ea and i think thats so expensive... year or two back i bought them all like 22-30 eur ea.

@@SuperiorStacker Probably Maples and lunar series stuff are most popular, but Philharmonics are the cheapest always, but for 40 euros :D no thx.. I usually hunt auction sites or ordering from other countrys
@@KertAllik the maple leaves are definitely one of the most popular coins in the world. Lunar series is also nice. But I don't blame you on trying to find them cheaper in the auctions an also buying from other countries. Sad how the extra premiums make it difficult to stack. But your still stacking buddy which is great!
