아름답고 위대한 기타를 만드셨네요, 소리가 어떨지 보나마나 좋겠지만 깔끔하고 정교한 기타이기에 소리도 듣고싶어지는거겠죠...

There are 2 things which I don't normally observe. 1stly, the pale coloration of western cedar and 2ndly, the use of Sitka spruce on claasical guitar. Sitka normally comes from a large log, which will be too wide for classical guitar, hence wastage. But both guitars demonstrated here sound great.

Video is about 13 mins long, but I always wonder how much real time was invested in doing work of art that was made her.

You really have to be a master craftsman to construct an instrument of this quality. That, I can tell you!

The intonation, I'm puzzled by this, both Guitars have great clarity, Cedar has a beautiful warm sound, almost sombre ( in a good way)

Remember your hearing this on KZread. The Cedar is awesome but doesn't come through KZread d/t compression. CEDAR!

Dreadful audio, preamp overloading I would guess. Get a different audio setup otherwise No-one could tell which sounded better. They were sounding equally bad!

A cedar top is as refreshing as a gentle summer breeze from a north western direction meandering through a mature stand of ever greens. Superb audio delicacy.

Perhaps enough time with either, and the player could push the instrument one way or another. Generally as has been said, spruce is cleaner and clearer, cedar warmer and fuller. Ultimately depending on the music you may want either of these qualities.

Each one affords an advantage.. I would use a spruce for large venues and when I am playing with other musicians. This will the guitar to cut through the mid range and be heard better without the tricky volume setting getting too raunchy. Cedar for small venues and solo guitar

Excellent comparison. Seems to me that one of each should be owned and played for different repertoire. Now I personally think for the upper register, spruce steals the show in terms of clarity and and openness. And as mentioned, bass region, I love the cedar. I reiterate - PLAY BOTH! 😂

Why not make a graphical comparison so we can see the pitch and amplitude of the notes as they are played simultaneously? Or a spectrogram of each overlayed for comparison?
