@@fixed-gp4wt yeah probably some minutes ago it went to 100% but when I try to heat up, it shows low charge message even when plugged in. So it's time to retire him, it's a bummer because it only lasted me 8 months.

Thanks for showing how to open one of these. I'm using one of these for registering designs while screen printing. Needed to have it mounted to a ceiling pointed straight down without setting off the blinking off level feature. Was able to wedge a small piece of folded paper in between the laser pendulum and the magnet below it and it disables the blinking. If I ever need to use it as a level again I can just take it apart easily and remove the paper. Thanks again.

I have this heater, it’s not blowing heat consistently …there is some but not a lot,..is the heating element suppose to be orange that you can see? Or it doesn’t go orange

I've got the same level and it is really dim. I can see the light but it doesn't cast them at all. I changed the batteries with no improvement. Hooked it up to a lab power supply at 4.5 volts and it gets better. I'm thinking I've got resistance in the switch or terminals. Thanks for showing how to crack the case open.

Saved my ass!! Fixed the error 5 code by going a step further.. took out the circuit board & heater, noticed caked cannabis carbon dust around the heater wires causing it to short. Use isopropyl alcohol with a toothbrush to scrub the circuit board clean with the battery disconnected. If anyone else has the error 5 code give this a go! Thank you sir 50/50 fixed, helped resurrect a 5 year old Solo II :)

Didn't fix error5 for me :(. I'm able to temporarily fix the problem if I bang the side of the vaporizer before it starts heating up

Dust gets under the key pad, keeping it from making contact when you press the buttons. Easy fix, if you don't count the screws. Lol.

Where can we obtain repair services for the BOSCH GLM 80? We are having problems with the LCD Display Panel. Also, when the Unit is not connected to the Charger it turns ON and beeps without anyone operating the ON/OFF Function.

I'd also like to thank you for this video! my Bosch GLL2-10 stopped wasn't working when I pulled it out of the cabinet to use, so I watched your video and it gave me the confidence to disassemble my laser level. mine was a bit easier to take apart, it is held with 5 screws; it turned out to be the on/off switch, I sprayed it with some electronic component cleaner and put a bit of dielectric grease in it and now it works perfectly.

Well this is interesting. Everyone says this unit needs very little cleaning. Just the glass and the chamber. But I've seen no one pull their unit apart except you. Here you can see the whole inside is dirty....I have no intentions of pulling mine apart....would you still recommend the Solo 2?

Thanks for your video. I've got a BOSCH Quigo laser. After a fall from 1 meter high it stoped working and the front cover was a little misaligned. I had no clue about how to disassemble and it turn out that it was exactly as the model you showed. Now it's fixed. Thank you very much.

great video. only issue i have with my beloved arizer vaporizers is that weed goes into the unit after some use. could you clean ur solo 2 by only removing the screws of the plate and open up at the top? or is it necessary to dissasemble the whole unit for good cleaning? thanks.

i guess you could have avoided removing screen and buttons by sliding a thin spatula by the rectangular gap in the bottom. But thank you very much for sharing, your video has very useful content.

Using a wooden spatula works just as you described, I used what I think most people call a popsicle stick. Just need to whittle or sand it down fine enough to slide in and over the buttons while sliding out the battery. It worked for me.
