Acting possibly theater? Most people stumble on the word “ umm “ you started out strong. 1/2 way started doing it. Oh well hang in there.

That part on the top is the idle jet its important to clean that too just like the main jet on the bottom bottom of the carb

Hi, my grandpa's old aluminum fishing boat was left outside, uncovered, through all 4 Michigan seasons for about 15 years. The wood is in surprisingly good shape, but I'm replacing it anyway because although it is not completely rotted, it is water logged. How can I tell if I need to replace the foam?

Thanks for your video. I have a 48 johnson and it shakes on idle and wants to die when I Rev it up. Think carbs are dirty and never done any carb work so I'm a bit nervous because I have people telling me not to take them apart. Your video is very much helpful and appreciated.

Replace with XPS foam (Lowes) cut to size. This will allow you to install drainage channels.

Polystyrene is not fuel resistant. Not a good choice. Polyethylene or EVA foam. Basically waterproof for life and chemical resistant.

I have the same motor. Got it not running and fixed it up now she runs smooth except for one thing, recently the carb air/gas adjustment screw rattles lose every time I go fast until motor stops, but as soon as I readjust it back it starts right up and run smooth again until it gets lose again. Sweet spot I have found to be two full turns counter-clock wise from fully tightened position. But, then it rattles off, so what do I do? Yes, screws are a fit.

sold boat in 2014, mistake, last year bought an 2001 Alumacraft 16 Bassboat--sold quickly, nowhere near the Landau for quality, fishability or quality

Just opened up my 17' Princecraft deep V to replace some soft flooring and found saturated foam insulation. After seeing your weight comparison I see no choice but to remove and replace. Thanks for the video. (I think)

It's not so much that the music is annoying. It's just that the audio quality is so low that, in order to hear what he's saying, you have to jack the sound up so high that when the music kicks in it's annoyingly loud.

Team Metal really good. I actually just took her out for the maiden voyage this last weekend. I continued to video but haven’t edited anything for a while. Just wanted to get it done. Hopefully I can get more videos uploaded.

reCreate Boatworks Good to hear! I bought a similar project (1988 15' Smokercraft with an Evinrude 40). Carbs are off as I write this so trying to get is running right before I tear into the boat part. Your vids are helpful. I wish you good luck with yours and a Merry Christmas to you and your family!
