🙋♀️ Who is that gal in the videos? That would be me, Layla Pomper. Hi! I founded ProcessDriven back in 2018 and have built a team around a desire to make process-building approachable for teams like yours. We've since trained over 3K clients!
📌 How does this channel make money? Shrewd question! The main way I justify investing dozens of hours in each of these videos is through the products and services my team and I offer on our website. We also generate smaller amounts of revenue from affiliate links and sponsorships. We require full editorial control of sponsorships, so you can trust that all opinions you see are our own!

Love this channel helps . A lot of great ideas.
Great video. It is my intention to create a content creation process.
I am currently using Monday and have been for about 12 months. I own a cleaning company with around 85 staff in the UK. I use Monday to hold all staff details, customer details, a full recruitment workflow from application to onboarding, staff scheduling and a few more bits. I have created everything myself but feel I have hit a barrier with it. I have even paid for a consultant who has written me a Monday report that mainly states I am hitting barriers in Monday due to its software limitations. My question is would you recommend switching to smart suits from Monday? Second question if I purchase your course would I be able to use it with Monday or would you recommend for me to swap over to smart suits as you have all the templates?
1 - It depends what exact limitation you’re hitting with Monday. Bringing your exact situation on to a call (or chat message) with SmartSuite support might help clarify this for you! 2 - Assuming most of your account is well setup, I would expect that even if you used SmartSuite only 2 or 3 templates might be “missing”and helpful to add in. In that case, if you are comfortable creating 2-3 Monday structures from scratch, then it could be a good fit. Just recognize that the lessons on setting up your workspace from scratch (I’d guesstimate it’s around 10% of the content) would not be relevant to you. If you’re not comfortable creating Monday structures from scratch or would prefer to wait until there’s more Monday-focused support, I’d hold off!
Layla, I respect and appreciate your uncertain reaction to amplifying the "authoritativeness" of your marketing voice. You are right to be uncomfortable with the "Guru" approach Especially if you are seeking to attract people with active minds. Gurus sell dependence. And you see it everywhere - from government (free stuff in exchange for votes), to Perry Marshall and Dan Kennedy (how good you'll feel after giving them your money). This is not to say there isn't something to be learned from these things. But in the end it is pandering to the crowd, to the lowest common denominator. If you want to sell independence, rather than dependence, you are looking for people with active minds. They are seeking a much more substantial and complex thing: values. Methods, generalizations, or principles that enable them to achieve their goals. You have to think to apply them, but you learn (and change) in the process. It is scary how many people in our society have accepted the "pattern" of following their emotions - which is why your KZread market gurus promote this. IMHO, in the long run we achieve more by sticking to our principles. Count on the fact that some people out there will recognize and appreciate your value for what it really is. You'll attract and retain more of the right kinds of people. You can build an edifice that stands above the crowd. And the clearer and more practical your communications, the faster it will be built.
how di you set up the task at the everything level?
I’m new to ClickUp and really enjoyed your videos. Hopefully many ClickUp customers can benefit from your expertise
The best response you could have towards those hating on you. ❤
Thank you for this. I fit personality 6.
Great video! What is the software application that Layla was using to do real-time edits to the process map shown during the screenshare?
😂😂😂
In electronic engineering, this can be proved mathematically. Parrallel resistor conections have less resistance than series resistor connections . Great content. And the video style of splitting the upper part and lower part its a great idea. 🎉😮😮😮
One thing is very useful from Jira but I have not found in Clickup that visual task ID such as project-1, project-2, project-3, ...
Time stamp: 10:00 smart doc automations My notes: 14:32
Can you skip weekends with this feature too?
there is not much on youtube or online on expense trackers in Smartsuite. I use a spreadsheet (and multiple tabs) to track if and when my bills are paid. This video is the only one I can find on budgeting (expense and bill tracking in smartsuite). I would be interested in a video on how to use Smartsuite to track debt, monthly payments, recurrent tasks for expenses etc.
Ahhhh... Im glad it helped.
It did. I was hoping you’d see this! ☺️
@@LaylaPomper Hey, do you all do coaching? Help build processes and systems. How much? I've pretty much written the systems out in the Paint Co. But I want a second opinion and make sure I didn't miss anything.
I bought the membership but how do I upload this template?
Reach out to us through your login, and our Coaches will be able to help you :)
thats cool, is like replacing "the line of assembly from Ford" by the "unboxed process from Tesla" (parallel series of assembly)
Is it possoble track SLI metrics over here? Like monitoring latency, traffic etc...
Very helpful, thanks alot Layla. Wish all the best to you !
I know this video is not ClickUp related, but what If our employees feel like using ClickUp is just an extra tool they have to use?
Stoik, I'm really glad that you asked this. I'm actually planning to do a livestream on this on Aug 1. It's not yet visible on KZread but should be scheduled in the next week or so. I'll answer this question there but feel free to join live if you want to get some personalized feedback! :)
@@LaylaPomper can’t wait! Thank you :)
I wanted to get some ideas on how to structure Smartsuite for my team of providers and admins. The issue I have with Smartsuite is that it is a 3 user for free or pay per person program. I noticed you didn't mention any work arounds for this issue. It is very difficult to justify paying for these low tech users when they may need the task assignments but they aren't actually doing admin work...so for eg. I love that smartsuite has live time tracking. This is a huge plus for us. However, this doesn't work on mobile devices and it only really makes sense if each person has their own login but lets say you have 3 to 5 core admins or managers and you have 50 non tech or labor workers or employees...so now you are looking at paying 550 dollars per month for all these users that only need a few funtions in the program. This is what I was hoping you would mention about there being a work around. YOu could use labels as people but then the live time tracker would be useless and probably others. Most likely we will have a "group" of people who log into each user I.E- manager = 1 user, Front desk= 1 user, marketing team = 1 user. That maxes out the free version. Also switching logins on the same device causes glitches. I switch between 2 users because I am setting up the program and it told me I did not have an account so I had to create a fake account just to bypass this issue on their sign in page.
Change! Loving the actionable advice in this video!😊
I'm so glad! Thanks for commenting!
Only 50-60 hours a week? You slacker. The video on dealing with this will be interesting. For me, the longer course is better as my time is limited but I certainly understand the engagement issue. While I had my doubts about ION as I am in retail, it has been really nice to make some of the new connections and gain some different ideas that will also work for us as I gain time to implement more of them. i.e. Get my staff to accept new ways of doing things. Interestingly enough, both young and old staff are resisting. Shiny objects are often best cultivated and thought about over time, especially those that will cost money. They can easily destroy a business, especially if it is a newer one. Break-ins are tough to deal with so it is no surprise that you are and were, so affected. It is a serious violation of your personal space and will take time to deal with. In retail, it is like finding out that a staff member or a long time regular customer has been stealing from you.
Great video, but what software are you using in the screenshares?
interesting
Change please. Thanks !
Change - that would be awesome 😊
Hi, loved this video but how can I make the due date change to move forward by a month each time? Is it possible?
If you have a CRM space with Companies/Accounts, Contacts, and Deals/Contracts/Agreements, is there a way to tie tasks from your Service space to one of those Deals? Ideally, we'd have all tasks tied back to a deal so that we could do reporting on the time spent on that deal. Further, if people email in and create a task (ticket), we'd like to tied those to the deal also.

I am wondering if you are still using Smartsuite? I followed you when you did clickup tutorials. I stopped watching you when you switched to Smartsuite (mainly because it costs per person after 3 users, Clickup allows up to 5 users). I found that clickup isn't really the format we need, the learning curve is too much and the case uses are too narrow so now I am full circle looking at your videos for smartsuite because I need to have something that allows us to track expenses, meetings, SOP's etc.
How would you write an SOP for say Cargo Acceptance for Air Cargo, where there are different ways to accept for example, a live animal, dangerous goods, human remains etc.
Very useful as always! Thank you.
Layla, greetings. Do you apply Lean for process improvement?
Great videos, Layla! Questions for you. 1) In this video we are just getting into the current state of processes? Then once we have collected them we will come for improvements as needed? Would this approach you show here is similar or aligned with Lean?
Hi Layla, 1) Are you still providig consultation for Click Up or another platform? 2) Are you still providing workflow consulting?
