  Depends what you're trying to optimize for. If you need true gig speeds, the Pro 7 is what you want. If you just want good overall performance, the 6+ or 6 Pro are good calls.

  Right out of the box, our Dyson Gen5Absolute had a rattle in the carpet cleaning head. Customer service conceded that the part is out of stock with no date for when it will be available (this is a HUGE problem with Dyson), so the unit had to be replaced. Dyson offered to ship us an exchange as soon as UPS received the defective unit. We recorded this conversation. Nevertheless, the next day, after we delivered the defective unit to UPS, customer service informed us that this was untrue. Dyson would not do an immediate exchange, but would ship a new unit only after it received and processed the unit, which would take up to 3 weeks (while Dyson sat on our money and the warranty triggered by our initial purchase continued to run.) In short, Dyson lied. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was assured that supervisor would call me back. No call. Dyson lied again. Even before we bought the unit, we got a bad taste of Dyson’s honesty. Customer service assured us that Dyson would price-match QVC’s sale price. This, too, proved to be untrue. Yet another lie. The vacuum may be great, but beware of Dyson. False assurances and unavailable replacement parts are a REAL problem.

  Excellent video compared to a lot of other video's we have watched, it is well set out and well presented. You explained all the aspects of each vacuum with the good points from your own experience in the real world which was really helpful. We are looking at each of these vacuums to buy and I think you help to make my wife's mind up to go for the V12 as we have a lot of tiled floors.

  I want to choose the Solo Loop when I upgrade my Apple Watch but I'm not sure if it will work as well as my Sport Band has been. I really like the soft touch after several years. Is it very sticky? Because I want to use it at night and I don't want the band to stick between the sheets.

  I have Eero installed. But when installing, I had to shut off the router of the internet provider and use the Eero router to enable Eero which I love (far better than my Internet Provider). However, since then I upgraded my security system which uses Google Home hardware. Somehow (sorry it was installed for me so do not appreciate all the nuances--I am like your parents!!) the Google Mesh was set up. BUT cannot install things like Google pod that tells me someone is at the door when I cannot hear the doorbell. THX

  New watches are released every September. The SE 2 hasn't been updated since 2022, but my guess is that the SE 3 doesn't come out until 2025.

  Thanks--nice review--appreciate discussing all of the nuances. So key question: When I hooked up my Eero system 2 years ago, I recall having to turn off my Internet Providers built in router before plugging in my Eero system and creating the Eero mesh. But now as I try to integrate GOOGLE HOME, it cannot connect to Eero Mesh. So do I connect to the original internet provider system and then turn off the router to again have the eero mesh and the google mesh????

  What do you mean by integrate Google Home? You have a smart speaker and want to connect it to your network and it's not connecting? That doesn't sound like a Eero problem. Google devices will connect with any WiFi network. On the other hand, if you're trying to add a Google WiFi node to your Eero network, that's not possible.

  My internet modem has a eero 6proe attached to it. I need a better signal in the garage area. I can get a used eero 6+ for $50.00. Are the two devices compatible? would it work? What do you recommend? Thanks

  Yes, it's compatible and a good idea! You'll have to play around with the placement of the new node though. You'll want it close to the garage, but still close enough to the gateway Eero that it gets a full signal.

  If all Eero's in your network are the same model, they're interchangeable. If you have different models (like the 6 and Pro 6) in the same network, you want the one with the better specs to be used as the gateway (plugged into the modem).

  It might be gone for good, but it's still on Eero's site, so we'll have to see if they get more inventory.
