Good shit, keep it going mate.
Best quote: "Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. The full quote is great I'll put it under here. But that sentence puts it in a framabale format: "The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who'll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you're sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that's almost never the case."
such a nice comment, and yes very true!
@@_skyeline my keyboard confused me enough to not even mention that it's from Chuck Close.

hehe almost at 1,000 subs keep going!!! I love the cozy music in the background!!
Thank youu
Insightful and concise video -- thanks. I managed to get a fair amount from this. It helps to see these points talked about in a laid-back but still substantive way.
Glad it was helpful! ☺️
I don’t know if you were inspired by her or not, but this reminds me of a stylized version of Audrey Hepburn. Very beautiful!
Oh yeah I searched it up and indeed it does look a bit like her, thanks for the comment! ❤
yo
Hello Sky, please confirm if all those gray color layers are all in normal mode and all in full opacity mode? you did not play in opacity right? Thank you.
Only the sketch layer is on multiply, otherwise all other layers are normal and full opacity
@@_skyeline Thank you for confirmation and the very video tutorial. =)
so the order would be something like this? 1. sketch 2. lineart 3. basic color 4. light & shadows 5. (within four) values If not, what would it be like?
Almost correct if you refer to my process. 1. Sketch 2. Base values 3. Ambient occlusion 4. Main Lighting / Shadow 5. Highlights 6. Final touches
@@_skyeline oh, thanks
DUDE THE COLORS OF THIS ARTWORK it is EVERYTHING I want to see in art pieces it is colorful, has a good flow to it, reminiscent of 90's anime i love it <3
Thank you so much for your kind comment!! I tried something out with the knowledge I have and hopefully I can somewhat inspire other artists out there
whats the music that starts at the AO part? it like on the tip of my tongue rn. great video tho :))
I have no idea since it's entire mix playlist 😅, however thank you for the lovely comment
Gorgeous!
Thank youu
Good stuff. You’ll be huge one day.
You think so? Thank youu 😭
4:23 😂😂😂 The Brush named as , Father of All brush , what it is actually??
Good eye! That's my main brush for environmental painting and texture painting, it's pretty handy, it's a custom square brush with some texture applied to it.
@@_skyeline great 😃
Hey Buddy please welcome me As your new Subscriber ❤
Welcome aboard! Thanks for subscribing!
What brushes you used Can I find them on procreate?
Unfortunately I cannot give you an answer whether or not my brushes are also on procreate, most likely they are Photoshop-Only, however you can most likely find alternatives! Brushes to look for: - hard round (transfer + smoothing 60%) - soft airbrush/ soft brush - pencil brush/ sketch brush - textured square/round brush Maybe this will help try to find alternatives! ;)
Gooooood
Yeeeees
KZread art channel algorithm found you bro! Subbed 👌
Thank you so much for subscribing! ❤
Is bro's channel new? Cus these tips are 🔥🔥, perhaps you can cover about fundamentals of art for beginner who doesn't know where to start or what to learn like me 💀💀
Thanks for this comment!! Yeah I'm new to the creator space and learning haha, I will definitely keep that In mind, planning to make videos about that 😉
Thanks a lot; Jesus loves you!
So good!! 👏👏✨
Like in real, there will be days where your down and days when your up. 😛 my teacher
An enjoyable watch, thanks for the tips :) As everyone else mentioned, really simple and very relaxing Keep it up😎
Thank you so much for your nice comment! 😭 I'll try my best to make more content for all of you!
This doesn't make sense, high quality video, editing, information and thumbnail. You should be huge by now.
You think so? That's such a nice comment thank you so much 😭
I was thinking the same thing. I never thought such quality would exist
chill bro hes only been at it for 3 months.
@@_skyeline100% man like omg
Might be regressing even
Oh noo, I hope you can get back on track with your art! 😭
u should draw a comic about getting worse at art
Love the general feeling of the piece at the end. It's a relatively simple process to follow but your explanation makes it even more clear. Super cool man. 👍
Thank you! I'm glad it's clear, I'm always unsure whether or not people will understand what I'm trying to explain. A lot also comes from experience and visual library, practice is the way! 😊
You’re going to be great ✊
Thank youu!
Love the video quality. Keep going brother 👊
Thank you!! I will!
New subscriber heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!!!
Thank you for subscribing to my channel!!! ❤️
@@_skyeline It's well deserved~
I just found your channel by some chance and it's amazing! I really like this relaxed atmosphere and conveying relevant information straight away.
Thank you! I'm trying to help as many artists as possible
I definetly get stuck between trying to get idea's for what to draw. Thinking about an "original idea" takes lots of time and effort and drawing fanart or studying other artists just doesnt hit the same. yet we have to remind ourselves that nothing is original, every artist took inspiration from somewhere at some point. We just need to try and have more fun with art, and not envy others.
Exactly that! We learn from others so we can figure out our own
stopping by to say the eyes in the thumbnail aren't looking in the same direction
Ok? 😅
I don’t have the skill to draw my ideas which is my issue
In the end almost everyone can develop the skill to draw, you just need to know where to look 😉
dude like I literally can't express how much I love these art videos
That's such a nice comment 😭 You really just made my day thank you! I'm just trying my best
Great job!
Thank you!! ❤
Omg your hair highlights have improved a lot from the last time i saw😮
I should be sleeping but how can i not watch these videos😅they are always super relaxing to watch❤
DUDE THIS LOOKS AMAZING !? How long did this take ? (Also i'm so obsessed with hose hair highlights!! definitly gonna study that later!! ... and probably everything else you did too...)
Thank you!! This took me around 45min to complete! I was personally really proud of these piece because It's one of those one in a hundred drawings haha. Feel free to study anything I am glad it is helpful! If I can at least help out one person, that is already an achievement on my side :)
I really love these drawing related video's you've been making recently. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much, I will try my bestest ❤
People say I am talented since I am a kid but I am stagnating a lot. I only can draw a few women poses but when I add a robot, a landscape, whatever, it looks quite bad.
Trying too many things at once can hinder your art progression, you could check out my latest video about burnout if you haven't already!
@@_skyeline oh I'll do. Thanks!
dude, you are underrated af ☺
Thank you so much for this comment, this means a lot to me! 😭🙏
Question, why did you layer everything with brown at first?
Great question! It's my base skin layer, since every other layer will be topped, but I'll explain it in a later video what my process is
Thanks for the video, I've noticed I haven't drawn in about a year except for making presents, so this video helped lift me up a bit
I'm glad I could help help out ❤
The audio quality is great! Plus, this video is just what I was looking for! I'm burnt to death and can't draw anymore...haven't drawn for months...
I understand the feeling very well! I'm trying to help burnt out artists Identify what obstacles are in the way of their art journey and hopefully can inspire some to get back to drawing again! 😊
