did bro have beef with a reefback?
I know I'm 3 years late, but why put a power cell charger in your Cyclops?
One leviathan attack and your base is all over
This ain't a beginner base - you're playing in Creative Mode, so you have access to all crafting/construction plans and unlimited access to building material. And the items you show need a lot of research of swimming, searching and finding, they are not "beginners equipment" - needless to mention the rough way of finding sulfur and silver.
He explained twice that all the plans you need, you have from the start, except for the battery charger. And the resources aren't hard to get for this stuff. Im only a couple hours in and am able to easily build this.
i might need a tutorial
You can only do that when you have upgraded power and thermal charging. Otherwise power will drain very quickly.
i liked it when the animals smashed into the cyclops
2:51 when the neighbors kids start running around at 07:00 am
The only real problems would be power cell chargers drinking up all of the power and only being able to carry one vehicle around at a time
I was building my base, then I realized I put five on the first side 😅
If you have enough stuff to fill all those lockers, then cyclops is definitely not expensive for you.
Where to get the table blueprint?
As I recall it's near the wreck on the grassy plains west of the survival pod, but there's also the canteen on Aurora where you get the counter and single shelf too.
the cell charger takes energy from the cells in the motor
Its bad to have the power Shell chargers inside your cyclops cuz you lose energy for using them so it dosent make Any sense
and how do i breathe inside the capsule?
As long as you have power supply, the capsule magically creates a breathable atmosphere
How do you solve battery problem for the cyclops? Do you just take batteries with you?
Does adding all the extra tech drain the Cyclops' power cells? I know the cells run down stupidly fast but can you build a supplemental power source too?
Putting battery charging stations in the Cyclops is pointless, since you are just draining power from the Cyclops to charge the batteries 1:1.
What’s the texturepack called?😭
That's a baby changing station at 4:05
Why would you charge powercells on a powercell powered sub????
Do you have battery stations set up around the map?
I am trying to get into this game and this was just the kind of guide I’m looking for. Short, Informative, and easy to understand. I appreciate it alot! 👍🏻
Cool base
Dead fish are hiting in the cyclops
love this. im replaying subnautica cause i want to try building a main base but in a new location. I might have found one in the center of the map above a very large hole. I should use the Cyclops as my moving base. And storage. Do you know how hard is it to find and scan battery chargers? Its never happened to me. Is it true, when you start a new game, some things are randomly rolled? Cause the last time I played it, there was like three or four battery chargers in one salvage area. The one where you had to laser your way in. Now its just lightsticks. But I'll find it. 8 hours in the game and I still havent found the second Battery charger to scan. Need to look closer in my seamoth, I guess.
Cyclops need power cells to have power so it can recharge the power cells? Doesn't make sense, or maybe I missed something
It's cuz this video is old, nowadays you cannot charge cells in the cyclops
The seamoth is like a escape pod
I just got into subnautica last month and finally built my Cyclops, I’m definitely utilizing this!
Ok, its a nice base.. but you know what happens when you get attacked by a leviathan.
I wish they would implement online co-op. Game would be so much better with a buddy or two.
it would be nice to have the option for sure i do feel like the game was intend for the solo play to add that layer of atmosphere
@@Thesandboxsurvivor I did look it up actually... The Devs intended to make it co-op but they, like EVERYBODY IN THE INDUSTRY *WANTED TO RELEASE IT FASTER* so they cut the efforts towards co-op and now they still want it but state it'd take months of work. I say go do that work. Take an awesome game and show the world you're not afraid to put in the work to be as awesome as it is. I'd love to see that first cutscene staring at my buddy across from me and watching him get whacked by that panel and fire extinguisher before I do.
But how do you get to the construction tab???? Totally left out an extremely important stepnin a how to video.
This week on House Hunters: RV, Subnautica Edition...
2:24 I just realized that those cell chargers are basically useless in a cyclop
Nice mobile base layout, poor camera work. I don't get motion sick easily but this video accomplished it. Please ease up on circling things with the targeting reticle.
The fish hitting the cyclops was hilarious 😂
I know this is unpopular opinion, but I prefer seatruck over cyclops and wish they include it in a first game. It may not be as big as cyclops and you cant build anything inside, but it's is small and cozy inside and it can be a mobile base of sort once you have all the relevent modules. Plus, with seatruck you actually carry both prawn suit and seamoth at the same time, unlike a cyclops.
Battery chargers won't work. Pretty soon you run out of batteries because you have no power source independent of the batteries to charge them with.
"I really wish that thing would shut up" then fucking drive away from it, smartass lmfao. God such an idiot
I do like what you have done, normally I would put the planter for the watermelons in front of the torpedo dock, and put the bed where the aquarium is but I do like the placing you had for the planter. It does seem to fit nicely in there. I still think the bed looks out of place there in the control room but other than that, looks great. I also wanted to point our how great the back of it is on the lower deck past the seamoth, I have never been able to find a use for that but that seems like a great place for battery recharge. Normally I'd put the battery's right next to the power cell locations in the engine room. But I really do like how you've done everything. Except for the bed but other than that, fantastic!
The base is impressive, it looks better than my actual habitats. But the real fun of the video was those stupid fish hassling your huge sub enough to make you go outside.
He banging is so misterious tho i heard it too nothing was outside
U don’t need a air pump?
Not as long as you have a sufficient power supply
I don’t trust to build that big, last time all my lockers did disappeared and all my stuff was away, I don’t know if there is a safety area in the cyclop what don’t can disappear
Great
10/10
I actually have a challenge for you to make an 4X4 base in the ecological deadzone atleast anywhere from 25,000 50,000 M deep. You can use multipurpose rooms ABOVE the 4X4 compartment to supply power. However some pre-requisites: - you must be PAST the point where even Levithian Ghosts can spawn. - The base needs 8 searchlights, 4 looking upwards, 4 looking downwards, which are always online. - You must be able to reasonably sustain yourself in this base without need of rest. Coffee and an vending machine being powered up should fix both issues. - The base obviously will need a connector. - And to up the ante: Your fuel source must be mesmers or lilypadders in an aquarium. You're allowed to add onto the offshore power plant as much as you want.
1:36. You will still have to stop by a regular base to charge it up every now and then. All you need to do is drop off some of your storage while it is charging and you will be fine.
I love that Reefies aren’t aggressive but also absolutely could not care less if you’re in their way. “Nah fam, I’m going STRAIGHT.”
Way he slipped out that quick to check that levethian off his haul is badazz 😄
