The "DIY lift kit" @1:43, they used to sell those at Trak Auto back in the 80's, most of my friends had those on their cars to "lift" the rear ends

Engineers should be required to service prototype vehicles before they go into mass production. I would bet in short order the heater cores would be redesigned and relocated.

The USA clearly does not have a system of an obligatory annual checkup, have you? Here in Europe (communism, mind!) it is required to have your car checked according to prescription. Apart from engine and dashboard issues, the majority of the issues shown are eyepoppin' to a European.

In the U.S., each individual state sets its own laws and rules when it comes to driving and operating a vehicle. Some states do require inspections, some require smog checks, some require nothing.

The brake scenes are why i now like to take the time to clean everything up from the caliper slides to making sure the pads can move freely in their spot. Pads often will get stuck which leads to excessive heat and wears out your pads prematurely. Even then that first clip showed worn out brakes they're driving on for awhile or they got really stuck. Then if you keep stuff clean it'll be easier to disgnose a sticky caliper.

Strange engine noise sounds like on my 05 Saturn Ion when the PCV hose between the intake and the valve cover got torn and I replaced it with a hose that was too short and kinked. It would go away when revving or driving at higher speeds but was definitely present while sitting and I couldn't for the life of me figure out the issue. Thanks random Redditor for pointing out that my hose was kinked and that was the cause of my noise

Good lord, yeah. EGR systems are horrible when maintenance is neglected. I bought a 9-year-old car used. Little 4 cylinder in-line. Had an EGR and no record of an injector service ever being done, so I did it to clean it out a bit. It threw so much soot out the exhaust it actually changed the engine compression ratio and set a MIL. It literally went from maybe 30 MPG on a good day to getting closer to 45 highway. Good job, engineers.
