I remember when my dad built a Compaq computer using old parts and let me play Warcraft 2 back in 2006. It took me a summer to beat all of the original game, and 2 more years to beat Beyond the Dark Portal.

Well I found your review of the game a really good one, maybe even the best and with lots and great content. I have to say that I don't appreciate very much that kind of art you made in Paint but I must say it really adds your touch and vision to the whole. With this I want to state a fatal flaw in your review... the music. I played this game for the first time when it came out back in 1996 and the music, even if at first it wasn't of my taste, it's something you grow on and need to be aware of its details, to this day I think it was greatly composed and get back to hear it again from time to time, it's always epic. I also played the orcs and humans campaigns from start to finish in the main game and then the expansion, no cheats. Hard and many times frustrating, maybe that's why I took around 3 years to finish everything. Still play it from time to time and if I get a friend or more for a Lan game in my old machines it's always a great experience. The game is not the best in its class for sure but when it came out nothing else was at its level in my opinion. You also have another subscriber! Cheers!

According to the lore. The light is a primal energy just like the void and chaos. The beigns that offer it re called The Naru they re like some shinny rotating constructs these comics entities appear to be good but they arent they just wanna expand their control over the lower races just like the void and chaos cosmic forces. The Titans dont have anything to do with them they re just creators with their own agenda that consist on searching for potential planets to breed more titans just to fight the void.

This always bugged me not just about this game, but "prophet" characters in general. Like, bruh, if you want people, at least somewhat sane people, to follow you, stop talking in riddles and make some goddamn sense. If he made his position clearer, maybe the king would be still alive, maybe they wouldn't need to flee to Kalimdor and they could've sought "the oracle" out much sooner.

I think the point of the cinematic was to show that human nobility would never give up what they had out of pride and greed, sorta more interpretive take. But yea it was like Medivh didn't even try, the way it was animated xd

Learn the hotkeys like you're supposed to and turn up the speed to a reasonable pace. What you're doing here is like playing an FPS using only the mouse. With a slow speed you will literally never become faster at issuing commands. You must have had little experience with RTS games because most of the issues you seem to have are just due to lack of RTS experience. I do agree with you about naval combat being slow though, they could have done more there.

I wish you used the reforged graphics, I despise the original look of the game, very ugly. The orcs being good guys, made me HATE orcs not only in this game, but in every other game as well. If they even look a bit similar to warcraft orcs, I start HATING them because I hate the orcs in warcraft so much.
