Here’s a list given to every gringo but should be an avoid list: Maro’s Shrimp House-literally the worst I have ever had anywhere. You can smell the bleach coming from the plates as waiters walk by. Rinsing seafood with bleach is an old restaurant trick to “salvage” old stock. Alt: Sancho’s Saturday shrimp boil. Real Cajun style peel-n-eat shrimp. Solomon’s Landing- expensive and not more than average. Alt: Campestre Baja Cantina/Tiki Bar- Not good at all. Alt: Cabo Cantina and for sushi, Koi Sushi in Walmart food court (not the in town Walmart) Salvatore’s- We call it “Salt-vatore’s. Not good at all but cheapsters seem to love the “big portions”…something said everytime Saltvatore’s is mentioned. I like that La Dolce is mentioned. We are there just about every week. We love the staff and wine selection. Mama Royals- Again, Campestre or Casa Sola. BTW, the chips get soggy in chilaquiles. They aren’t nachos, man. Rodizio- Popular with the all-you-can-eat crowd. Every single type of meat is seasoned with the exact same seasoning.

I have come back a few times watching this video. This time I noticed the inside is super clean, like new clean. It is super rare.
Did you rubber bands break often. I am told to use 1 per day but i guess I would need at least 3 a day and no stick was given to place them on the hook so I do it with my hands and it just breaks apart

Enterprise wanted to surprise $6000 deposit. Here’s a better idea take one of their shuttles to the car rental location and grab an Uber. Uber drivers are also probably your main source of good information on party favors and places to go. Cabo is basically like San Diego with more Spanish and LA prices. it’s absolutely the opposite everything I’ve loved about Mexico. Extremely expensive even the stuff at Walmart cost more than it does to the same items in the US. It is safe, but that’s only because there’s one cartel that runs everything.

I also think the lack of passenger seat height adjustment is a major flaw. But I agree with you, the car overall is great. 👍
"Lateral" is behind the Mega grocery store in SJDC. We didn't discover it until our last night in town. Had we known about it we would have eaten there many more times. I had the Lingua and the shrimp tacos and they were amazing!

we have been in Solomon's Landing Los Cabos many times for many many years, we are ok with price increase with new menu, But their service has not been improved, in fact it's gotten worse, as a matter of fact it's awful, some of workers in this restaurant basically ignores you, food is/was awful and service we received Underwhelming, service us bad that we felt awful tipping waitress but we still tipped her, wish I didn't! there are many friendly restaurant in Cabo, just don't go here.

I wanted to tint my front windows but unfortunately it is illegal here the most I can do is 50% which isn’t even worth getting and wouldn’t look much different then now. 😢

Thank you for keeping this review real, honest and for the everyday driver. I am currently a Jeep owner and am leasing a 2023 Wrangler. I have done some homework and Jeeps are not a great long term ownership success. I have a few coworkers tell me that TOYOTA is the way to go. I am considering a RAV-4 or for more off road capability a 4Runner. Thank you for the honest review, its appreciated. Hope to see more long term review on your RAV4.
