Nice job Nicole! Your wash method is almost identical to mine. I do use a VERY soft long handle brush to wash the wheels & wheel wells. With the brush I can scrub the shiny metal wheels & then tires. I don’t really encounter any brake dust or I would spray on a pre-soaker. If the wheels are really dirty, I would use the pre-soaker.

Haven't tried the hybrid wax yet. I've been using the spray stuff. I'll give the hybrid a try next time I wax since it would save a step. I see you have Cross Climates. I LOVE those! Absolutely the best all season tires I've ever found for my RAV.

I wax my car every year, and my paint is still good after 15 years. But my cars stay out in winter and summer in some of erratic weather in Canada. Great video

Try this new stuff by turtle wax, it is the best wax i have ever used. called Hybrid solutions Turtle wax PRO, called graphene infused, there is paste or liquid, i used the liquid. Easy to apply and shine. Much easier than older wax. You will love it, a bit expensive but i got it on sale. And i have used a lot of waxes over the years. Maybe you can do a video after you try this wax oneday, only if you like it.

It really depends on how much driving you do and how dirty your vehicle gets. I think a good rule of thumb would be once a month.

@@Nicole.Sisson will do. The kit I found is pre cut exactly for the Rav 4 and it’s only $40 so it shouldn’t be too hard but I will certainly report back! I’m in the middle of Seattle so all the quotes I’ve gotten are over $200😭.
