You will see that Clemson defense always seemed to be in the perfect place at the right time. They didn't cover O J Howard because you hadn't thrown to him that much all year. And most of the scoring came from O. J. Howard, Special teams, and busted plays (like the Derick Henry first TD.......they were in the correct spot they just couldn't tackle him). Well, that's just my thoughts. Plus notice the downfall since the D-coordinator left. It's not like the talent went down. They even got some 5 stars that Nick Saban was trying to recruit. They taught him to chatter at the batters . Had a great throw to second. Down here he was yelled at for doing the chatter. A coaches emotional display encourage his team to try .

We were never sub par before Saban. We were on probation. Outside of probation and the few years right after the bear retired, we’ve always been the force in college football. We have won a NC in every decade since the 1920s except for the 1950s. No one has done that or even came close to that.

The way you fought to win the Bama team over in the Ole Miss loss will forever be remembered. In the end, the real proof on progress is the W-L record on the field. Everyone give the coach 4 years to establish his record and then we will talk. Bye this time it will clearly be his recruits and his playbook/culture. As a BAMA fan who lived through the 80’s football teams and coaching we don’t get excited until we see the product on the field and how these teams play period. RTR!
