Guys I really liked Alabama before Saban became coach and now that you guys have a awesome new coach It will be great to root for the Bama again. Roll Tide.

Coach Deboer and staff are killing it in recruiting! You just have to feel good about the future seeing what he did with less talent at Washington. I know they had some 1st round picks but as a whole, this Bama team is obviously the best he has ever had. Now... this is the SEC and it's different down here but so far it seems like Coach Deboer is picking up where Saban left off. I know that's a mouth-full but I think we, as Bama fans, have to be feeling really lucky to have Coach in Tuscaloosa. I absolutely love his approach Jake! He has proven his approach works as well too. He seems like a very high Character guy. He and Saban want to achieve the same goals for these kids. They just do it in different ways. Love the show. Gee Jake, I am shocked you had not heard of Rickwood Field. All the greats in the Negro Leagues played there including Willie Mayes, Josh Gibson, Satchel Page and on and on. Then it transitioned into the Black Barons and then the Birmingham Barons. It was built in 1910 and is quite unique as well as being the oldest baseball field in the US. Bob Costas is so excited about the upcoming major league game being played there and talks about it frequently. It’s the annual Field of Dreams game being played at Rickwood because the real Field of Dreams is being renovated. Rickwood was renovated in 1994 because the movie about Tye Cobb was shot there (Tommy Lee Jones was the star) and recently the City of Birmingham spent a lot of money renovating it too. Should be fun!

Thank God Bama didn't hire Mike Norvell. FSU is literally 60th in the 247 composite rankings. Yikes The childish way he handled missing the playoff alone would've made him a "hard no" in my book, but they reported Norvell was 2nd on their list if Deboer turned down the offer.

Let's get this straight until he can win like Saban did the best coach ever along the bear. saban got all the players better than what they were. Last year, we beat Georgia in the sec championship game with one of our standard power house teams, fact. We lost to Michigan in overtime, a game we should've won. Sabans best coaching job ever.
