    The weird thing is the output from the Motif XF is amazing, but they really dropped the ball with the original Montage - everything was treble heavy and pianos sounded like Marimbas through a p.a. It’s good to hear that they have improved the output with the M, but really this is just correcting a major flaw in the original Montage.

    I just purchased a Novation Summit from main dealer in Singapore a few days ago.... nice synth.... when I connect to my windows computer and opened the Components...it says there is an update. After successful updating ....the version shows 126.618 on the summit screen instead of ver 2.2. On my computer screen it says 'Your Summit is running Vcustom build 2126 FGPA 778 ' How come it doesn't show ver 2.2 which is supposed to be the latest version? Anyone knows what is Vcustom? build 2126 ? Thanks

    Hi all, Issues: Loud random static noise pop up on one HS8 left speaker and it won’t output guitar sound. Unless I change guitar preset on my Hotone Amero stage 2 and it works again. Sometimes it produces loud pink noise (on both speakers) and it won’t go away till I switch the power off on guitar processor and speakers. It’s happening every time I play almost every day. Connections: Guitar -to Hotone ampere stage 2 - Xlr out from Hotone to XLR in Yamaha HS8 Studio monitors. Usb c to usb a to laptop. All the power is from one power Board. Please advise if you any idea how to get rid of these- thanks in advance.

    The explanation about how velocity sensitive keys work was cool. I once had a key that worked intermittently. I took the synth apart, and under the rubbery thing, I found a dead pseudo scorpion (look it up) that had crawled in there and got squashed when I played the note. I cleaned it off and it worked fine. The way he was able to crawl in there, is that there are little openings, so that the rubber doesn't burp when you press the key!

    Two of these speaker stands could even support a small keyboard. It's a pity no importer in Europe seems to be interested - according to Liquid Stands - otherwise I would buy these to complement my recently purchased two tier Liquid Stands keyboard stand. It was worth the money, but very expensive due to shipping costs exceeding the retail price by far.

    I found these type of shelves sort of worthless on my Quik Lok Z stands except for speakers. You have to place them all the way on the back of the of support on each side and the back of the keyboard hits them plus they are too far away to reach a laptop, drum machine or small mono synth. These do appear much nicer in features than the Quik Lok version though.

    I was excited when I first discovered the Liquid Stands site, and after your video I was abou to pull the trigger I emailed them the following " Hi, Love your stands saw them before but was reminded by "Scotts Synth Stuff" but I'm kind of bummed that there isn't a "producers bundle" with the following items. 1. MS1111 Rolling Home Recording Studio Workstation DJ Keyboard Table - Keyboard Piano Stand 2.Utility Table Top for X Style and Z Style Piano Stands 3.Clamp-on Adjustable Speaker Monitor Stands with Tilt They did respond back quickly with the following "As of the moment, we don't have bundles yet. However, if this is your first purchase, you can scroll to the bottom part of the page and enter your email address to get a 10% off!" that was in April 2024. Before discounts it's 330 bucks. I still check their site hoping for a bundle with the MS1111 😃 they have pictures with that setup (so no new photo's necessary) maybe this could help motivate them to offer a bundle wiht their MS1111 stand. I also think that the bundle would be a great video. Scott love your videos and hard work OSF

    Hey Scott I've had the Hydrasynth Explorer for a few months now, and as a beginner I'm really struggling with the lack of knobs and finding the menu diving to create and play with patches to be very restrictive. And there just seems to be a lack of community patches out there. After watching several reviews I'm leaning towards the GAIA 2 as my next synth. I've heard that the USB audio interface is a bit of an issue sometimes, can you confirm?

  • @ScottsSynthStuff
    @ScottsSynthStuff4 күн бұрын

    I honestly have not tried the USB audio interface on the GAIA 2 - I don't use USB audio in my studio, so I can't comment.

    Hey Scott, Finally got a Gaia 2, it IS for sure a beast of a synth. I have it for a few weeks now and really enjoying this synth. In my opinion, it is a great addition to the Behringer deepmind 12D and the Modal Cobalt 8M. Plus it fits right in in the company of the Roland Boutiques JD-08 and JX-08. Just a shame that the USB-C port can't be used for firmware upgrades or preset uploads. I just wanted to let you know that your review on the Gaia 2 made the descision to buy it very easy 🙂 Thanks again for the great review. Cheers from Belgium Johan

    Interresting stuff. I am a Jaspers fan for my synths (got 4x 4-Level-A-Frame and 1x 5-tier movable Rackstand) but I am missing a system/option to clamp a stand onto existing furnitures/tabels. This looks very promising. Do you know if they will selling as well to or already in Germany? Additionally question: Did you every see/test some BlackPanther stands? While I am searching for a stable option for a moveable 3-tier stand which doesn`t have a big footprint I recognized some of their products. May this could be a cool comparison for another video? 🙂

    Hey Scott, let me add for your stand reviews a company in Europe (Germany) called Gravity. I have 10 stand and extension to stand from them and it's heavy and sturdy as .... If you're in Europe checked them up...

  • @valleyken
    @valleyken5 күн бұрын

    - I have a Gravity synth stand, as well as Gravity stands for my studio monitors. They are very good indeed, and affordable. Pretty sturdy indeed, but I think it's still aluminium components. - But I also got a BlackPantherSystems stand, which is on a next level of sturdyness, similar to these LiquidStands. They are steel components, quite heavy when assembled. Also a bit more pricey. And they lack some rubber to prevent sliding of synths on the very smooth steel. So not all perfect, but close to it. The one I got also has a row of electrical sockets mounted in the back, which is very handy and cleans up some cable mess from the floor.

    Some speculation here aged badly, ie Carbon8 won't be released, some was correct (outside investment/takeover). As in the US there's insolvency, but also restructuring. They said it was the latter (including in legal documents), and that's what happened: the company continues to exist with new investment/control from Alltronics.

    Roland is now following the business strategies of the mobile phone companies!! Previously their products would be much better in built quality and features also.. Now the latest Synthesizers doesn't have the latest and clear tones, Arpeggios from the old Synthesizers and module like JV 1080, Juno 60, JD Xi, JD Xa etc.. Even there is a lot of software and hardware issues..
