  Awesome video! What would be your rubber strap/clasp recommendation for the Sinn EZM1? This new butterfly, standard clasp, or tang buckle? I know you've said in the past some of the Sinn clasps overtake the watch with how big they are. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

  Sinn made back in the day a black silicone strap with EZM1 printed on it, I think I had the last one, I've paired it with the butterfly clasp and would do again

  I have the same 556a as yours. I basically sold my Rolex Explorer to buy it and I don’t regret it. A little bit on the heavy side and the clasp is crap I can’t get the best fit I wish there was one more hole of micro adjustment.

  We can talk about how cool it is, but what i like is that they are going no-date now which i think is new in the dive collection? Saw the same on their other limited edition U1 watch. Hope they go that route with future U50's because im on a hunt for a no-date currently and im very much into german designs.

  Hmm, my Seiko 5 7009 3040 seems to have clips which look like two pins joined together at one end by a squared off section, sort've like a two prong fork. One fell out the other day but I managed to find it on the garage floor but it was loose when I pushed it back in so I crimped the bracelet a bit to hold it better. However, I suspect the pins to be worn so I'm trying to find if I can buy replacements both if the pin falls out and perhaps a new one won't be as worn but so far, I've only found these single pin styles.

  @@ClickSpringReview Turns out the clips are called "U-shaped pins". I've found what I think is the part number for the bracelet itself (PN B1497J) and it's listed at $65 USD. Still haven't found anyone that just sells the pins. As I said, I found the pin on the garage floor so I haven't lost the use of the bracelet just yet. I'm considering putting a small dab of super glue to keep the pin from slipping out or just removing one link as a slightly smaller bracelet will probably still work. The U shape means that the end piece won't flex as the bracelet flexes so that portion being held by glue should work. However, just ordering a replacement bracelet seems like a good idea too as AI now have the part number. The bracelet seems to also be called the SCWS73 7009-3040 19mm Oyster Watch Bracelet. I think the successor to the 7009-3040 was the SNXS73 so though the mechanism changed, the bracelet stayed the same and the case just changed to a glass back instead of a steel back and that lasted till the Seiko 5 line was replaced with the Seiko 5 Sport line hence there are still plenty of new replacement bracelets available. Of course, there's also the option of upgrading to a better bracelet with screw pins instead of these friction fitted pins, the 19mm lugs to attach a bracelet are industry standard, it's just the U-shaped link pins that are unusual in the watch industry. I think I've figured out why the pin is slipping out now after over thirty years without a problem. It is because the Horologist decided to press the pin out to open the bracelet to access the watch for the overhaul, rather than to try and squeeze the lug spring bar which is just harder to access without the right tools (that probably means that pressing in the spring bars to attach a new bracelet might also be a hassle). I do think that I have a cheap set of the tools needed though.

  I would have named it Shizoku if i am going to maintain the name starting with an 'S'....after all Shizoku is a terminology being given to former samurais. They are a different breed of Japanese warriors.
