I'm Marshall, I love watches and found a passion for watchmaking. I like to find broken or neglected vintage watches and bring them back to life, restoring history and letting someone enjoy them for years to come. I'm not a watchmaker by trade, but I do love the hobby and I hope you'll see why on this channel!

I love listening to this before bed. It relaxes me so much. Can’t wait for more!!!
The dial is sparkling clean & MINTY FRESH. 😂 🤣 😂
With all the fancy cleaning equipment why does the watch still look dirty when you assemble? Looks like lint, specks of dust smudges or stains all over the place.
I like the gold crowns
I noticed the donor watch had neither a GMT or date function. Would there not be a compatibility issue with the attempt to replace the entire mainplate? I imagine there would be extra screw holes and posts or cutouts required for those functions. Is it common for a maker to use a movement with extra capabilities, but produce a watch which doesn't use them?
It is a beautiful watch on the inside. I love the gold or brass inside

Not sure if this has already been said, but dating a Bulova is easy… below the serial number is a code. I think yours said M6, which would date it to 1966. L is for the 50’s, M is for the 60’s, N is 70’s etc. Great video, thanks for the consistently great content!
Going to need to know. HOW were the miniscule screws made....170 years AGO? Is there any vids?
This watch should have only be touched by Rolex and not a free lance you tuber
I guess you're just a bust watchmaker/fixer-upper.
Fantastic work! I've been watching you for 4 months now & suggested other like-minded guys to watch you! I've been a, "watch guy" for 40 years... I have four watches that I'd love for you to work on. A 100 year old Elgin pocket watch that my paternal grandfather got for his 21st birthday (1924) MINT! Additionally, I have an Elgin wrist watch that my father purchased on the ship on his way back from the Korean War (NOT mint). I have my Maternal grandfather's small pocket watch that he had when he came from Norway in 1921. Finally, I have another old "Farm" pocket watch that my Grandfather wore in the field... What's the process for getting them to you? You are a great educator! Thank you in advance for your consideration. Scott~
Wow, I just learned what the song "A-11" stands for, the jukebox number is a double metaphor meaning war widow.
So servicing a watch is literally taking it completely apart and cleaning it and reassemble??
What was the amplitude after service?
You must have patience of a saint and nerves of Steel
Patron's don't get a watch😢
Great video! Steady hands. But all it does is tell time. $10,000. Whew.
Yeah we didn't have any cell phones back then
I'm not much for watches but that is a work of art
Hello Marshal, excellent video , I must say I like seeing it back in it's case with a new crystal . As for some reason the crystal brings out Beauty of the face so to speak , thank you for having us along in your watch repair journey!!!
The patience of Job.🙂
I have a Timex Expedition with I like alot,I just wish the case was nicer with a nice bezel etc, cause last time I changed battery six months later it was off by only two minutes
How much do you charge for this?
Lovely!
I have one but sadly I lost the locking crown.....Does anyone have a way to get one?
ok sure but where is the pack of Divorced Dads?
Dad wore the watch for so long and did everything with it and she managed to fuck it up in notime... Insane.
Wow! I want one
While I watched you manoeuvring that tiny machine screw, my mind wandered back to the 1978 assassination of Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov at a bus stop on Waterloo Bridge, London (UK). The murder weapon was a spring-loaded umbrella that fired a 1.52 mm diameter pellet into Markov's right thigh (a similar weapon had been used in the failed assassination of Vladimir Kostov in Paris). During Markov's autopsy, the pellet was removed and was found to have two 340 micron dia. right-angled holes, forming an x-shaped cavity. Traces of fat indicated that the holes had been filled with a lethal dose of ricin and then plugged with organic material that would dissolve into the bloodstream. The interesting aspect of the case is the pellet itself; Scotland Yard determined it to be made of a hard alloy (90% platinum 10% iridium) and was actually a jeweler’s watch bearing. Forensic scientists opined that drilling such tiny holes would only be possible using a high-tech laser in a process known as “spark erosion.” Do you know whether precision watches were manufactured in Bulgaria in the 1970's? Could the Bulgarian secret police have recruited the assistance of a watchmaker during the manufacture of the murder weapon?
Gold doesn't plate better to nickel than it does to brass! The reason to nickel plate before gold plating is to stop the brass diffusing through the gold. It is a diffusion barrier
Very handsome watch. The patina is glorious.
Great work and nice to see a 24h face and those little tricks to test and set it.
How much does that sell for after you restored it?
Bellissimo orologio. Ottimo lavoro
Some of those screws were the size of flea poop.
amazing to say the least ....fuel gauge is awesome on this piece
That is a cool watch !
Big lads ❤😅
22:19 I like to think these old pocket watches getting a taste of modern oils being extremely confused and grateful. "What do you mean youre not using the fat of a cow to oil me? What is this magic substance that is making me run better than ever? ARE YOU A WITCH?!!!"
Crazy how engineers haven’t figured out a way to make a vehicle that’ll automatically run like a watch.
This man is a real star
I wish someone would produce a clear back cover for the various A11 watches. American movements are always "Gorgeous". Especially the Elgins cause that's what I have.

So, it's kinda like working on a car. If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!
Very interesting vid, glad you made it run again, Thanks very much
