For our industry AI is helpful for speeding up Interior and costructions processes. But I believe Art should be purchased from real artists. Maybe artists may use AI as reference images instead. This is what I do for interiors

The reason why you didn't find black water nymphs is because water nymphs are greek in origin. Of course they wouldn't be black. If you want black water nymphs, you need Mami Wata spirits which are the version of water nymphs that originated in the sub-saharan section of the African continent.

I think your lineart has this incredible flow to it. You should check out artists like James Jean. I'd love to see your take on this type of surrealism, I feel like you'd excel, and that black characters/portraits are often left out of this art field. Love your work and your message!

I like to call imagination or invention as "drawing from memory" that's the core of it. You need memories to draw from imagination / invention. So it cuts away all the pretense and metaphor. To get better from drawing from memory you just have to spend time memorizing. Which is taking notes, tracing, testing if you can draw from memory, seeing the mistakes, focusing to find a way to memorize parts which were remembered wrong, repeat till good enough. I like to think that to take "notes" to "notice" important details. 🥁🎵 At least it forces you to. Talking to another artist through text what you're doing, trying, failing at is also akin to taking notes.

Sequential Art like Manga won't be touched for a long time. Also action poses are a nightmare to make for Ai. I tried and it struggles with unique context situations. It's really only good at pin up drawings that don't have any hard context rules to figure out. Like a skateboard has the rule where the board is on the ground with 4 wheels and the persons 2 feet are connected to the board facing the correct way.

AI is a tool, Artists who use AI to create their work are no different than you. Believing AI steals your things is as irrational as believing a paintbrush steals what you guide it to paint. You can draw using code alone. Businesses are allowed to replace the human workforce with something cheaper. Either copyright and fair use apply to everyone, or no one is entitled to expression of self period. An artist using the tool known as AI is the same as you using a microwave. All digital artists use some level of AI, either everyone is entitled to use technology to express themselves or no one is. "They're just lazy" is not an argument, because you aren't entitled to their enthusiastic labor. "There's no skill, heart or soul" isn't an argument, because you are not entitled to their skilled labor, and they do put their heart and soul into everything they create. "Ai can't think or be creative" not an argument, a tool isn't supposed to be able to do those things. "They use AI as their slaves" not a legitimate critique as its an object you are supposed to use it like you own it. You aren't entitled to receive what you don't have to give. So long as you don't need permission to use a persons creation or to pay them you aren't entitled to it. Websites make you consent to give data, you did consent by using the site. A disabled person, defending their right to use whatever tools are available to express their creativity is not using their disabilities to justify stealing. You aren't entitled to do anything everyone else can't,so long as you can create fan art,fan stories and mirror characters voices you didn't create, everyone will be entitled to using the tools available to them.

Artists who use AI, aren't clinging to their prompts. They're rebuking your assertion they are not the creator of the work. A programmer is responsible for the function of the thing they built, even when they built an AI to manage the systems tasks. The same applies here. Being anti ai artist is irrational, because the owner of the AI is responsible for the functions of the device and the true owner of said art. And you are still creating buttons if you create a machine to do it that you manage. They're still your trademark and copyright. All arguments against the usage of AI in the creation of art are the same old tired arguments used by factory workers. They're not valid

Don't bother, we know "artists" don't Care about anyone. So you wouldn't try to help us with the pain anyway, because that would require you to be anything but abusers. And you're not. We will not commission "artists" my trauma release character is not your property. We're an artist even if we are never able to use our hands again. You are thieves.

I'm stealing that heat sink idea for my Kamvas Pro 16. During use it uses my hand as a heat sink and stays cool, but during idle it just builds heat. I have CAD software and access to a 3D printer. Time to fabri-cobble a solution.

Awesome video. I do lots of modifications to my gear as well. I have my sketchboard 1 cut and glued and beaten to death with my personal mods. I just want to suggest that you get into 3d printing (If you haven't already) to design your own utilities and mods that'll help you do these kind of changes in a cleaner ways. You'll start thinking of more ways to make the setup suit you better.

I recently took a computer science security class and there was a day when we discussed why it's so difficult for young people to leave a social media app even though they know that social media app jeopardizes their privacy. Everyone knows that Meta is not a great company and has terrible policies, yet a large chunk of people still use their apps. My personal opinion is that people (young people in particular) have a deep need to fit in. And nowadays if you don't have social media you aren't able to fit in, you aren't able to keep up with what people are talking about, and you aren't able to stay in contact with people as easily. There's this massive sense of FOMO if you don't have social media, because everyone has it. People are willing to trade their privacy for the ability to fit in and be a part of a group. It's so easy to say "Just don't use that app", but nowadays it feels like a majority of people have their social life deeply tied to social media, so it's understandable why people haven't just deleted "that" app.

But that is what all TRUE AI experts (AI expert is not someone that uses AI, is the mathmagicians that understand what an AI can or not learn) have been saying. AI can and will replace jobs about producing once again what have already been produced 400 times. It will not threaten the outside the box workers.

Thank you for voicing my inner monologue . Also for the insight into Cara. I have recently heard about it through networking on IG. IG has become littered with too many ads and distractions, like you said, instead of showing me the art I specifically chose to follow. Community is absolutely a major component that artists are searching for whether they realize it or not. I am much happier to get a helpful critique from a fellow artist or a discussion. That's the thing I miss most from art school... didn't realize how lucky I was to have a group of 30 people to discuss creating art with on a daily basis in an effort to help each other improve and grow.

You remind me a bit of myself. I worked as a techie for 18 years doing some art here and there. However, now I'm trying it out as a full time artist. (still help my husband with his full time biz though) I used to try and modify stuff even far back as grade school when my father and I made a tornado demonstration machine with a hot plat and a wooden box with plexiglass.
