  0:46 As a Chicagoan I can say that Kirk does a wonderful impersonation of a Chicago alderman - maybe even an Illinois governor. You know...four of them have gone to federal prison since 1960. That was - Kerner, Walker, Ryan and Blagoyevich. As old Chicago alderman and saloon owner Paddy Mauler said many times in the 1930's - "Chicago ain't ready for reform yet."

  Some argue the character of Spok carries the show and others argue for Capt Kirk. Other than taking the easy way out and saying the two complement eachother where the two roles are some factor greater when combined, Shatner’s acting is superb.
