Damn! The Shat is still doing great!! Yeah, he was a difficult guy, and may still be, but he will always be the awesome Captain Kirk to me! He’s done other great work, but his triumph was Captain Kirk. His other triumph was The Big Giant head on 3rd Rock from the Sun - especially the airport scene!

Shatner was a notorious put on artist. Inarguably second only to Andy Kaufman for the notoriety of his put ons. Yet you all believe his costars, whos relationship with him brought to them the greatest opportunities of their careers, and lives, all hate him. Yet we see him in these interviews, and characters he plays, and we all find him adorable. To buy this put on you have to believe either that he's doing something hateful to his costars in private, for which there is no evidence, that justifies their hate, or that they are so hateful that they hate him with, at best, very thin justification. Or you might consider the third alternative. That his costars collude with the put on, and you buy it because of something hateful in you.

Hollywood inspiring icon ! Without a doubt the longest running actor director producer in Hollywood history. How would it be possible for The History Channel to post videos like Space Warfare and the future of Weapons if not for William Shatner. I'm quite sure people like Sir Patrick Stewart and even Elon Musk could tell it much better than me !
