I was looking for a sound to help me in studying, when I found this unforgettable and amazing music. Now it has taken me to Middle East. Great!

I can’t believe I missed this! And I live in NC…. I hope you had a great time in my home state and I hope you come back. I love what you do and I’ve learned a ton from your channel. Thanks for everything you do Raquy!
Great job ! 5:53
what a powerful performance my brother!! keep doing what you doing cause you are doing it to the up most...keep the kalimba alive!
Beautiful composition Isabel .
Great !
Damn at 1:10 that polyrythm with the food jingles is insane. His timing is perfect, so good it almost sounds off but if you listen it's completely consistent. He's a master.
If you ever get a chance to do a workshop with him, do it! He gets everyone doing these crazy polyrhythms with different body parts.
superbe ,manque juste les percussions de la caraibe et de l'europe la dedans, formidable travail tout de meme et respect à toutes ses femmes

Absolutely love this! And where did the long hair man get that fretless sitar?? So cool 🙏
That instrument is called a dotar.
Hey, I work with Asheville Rhythm and River is my drum teacher. The guy with long hair is Chris Rosser playing a dotar.
@@MiziB I looked and looked and found that the one he’s playing is actually called sarod. So similar to the dotar but a little different
@@M0gley1111 A sarod is usually a little larger than a dotar and has a wider neck and more courses of strings; but a dotar can be considered a type of simple sarod. I know that Chris Rosser calls his instrument (the one in this video) a dotar. He plays lots of other instruments as well.
Awesome thanks for the info yall! I want one lol
I like this progressive sound. It could fit into a fine movie easily. World Class, I got it. I'll hang in to the end.
terrible tellement c'est bon ,magnifique organisation faite principalement que de femmes, chapeau bas mes soeurs ,grand respect à vous💝💓💓💓
I was blessed enough to be in this man’s presence for 3 days in a row while he taught/jammed with a big group. Im just a beginner but getting to witness his energy and enthusiasm can bring a tear to my eye any time i think of it. Absolutely INCREDIBLE. He can just hit the drum ONCE and everyones eyes get big.
STANDING OVATION!!!!!
Percussion at its best...
Can we take part in 2023? I play freehand Djembe. Any process?
Email us a letter of intent about how you would like to be involved as well as links to videos of you doing that thing in a professional capacity. If you are a teacher, send demos of you in a live teaching situation and if you are a performer, send demos of you performing in a professional capacity. We also want to know about your credentials and lineage (meaning where and with whom did you study and for how long). Thank you for your interest.
Of course, you can also simply participate as a student and attendee to come study with master instructors and performers. If we decide to do a 2023 festival next summer, the date will be announced some time in February and tickets will go on sale some time in March, so keep an eye on our website. We also always need volunteers for each festival.
