Wow listen to that fucking bass with the preeminent drums of Danny Octopus Arms Carey. This recording really captures the perfection that is Tool at their most raw and hungry stage and performed this way 92-98 Maynard vocals are beyond perfection for a Rock vocalist. What else can be said about Adam, creatively ascendant while never deviating from his artistic freedom of expression. We all miss Paul and these recordings are the reason, no offense to the awesome and paramount replacement for Tool's future success. Long live the music that never dies 🤘🏼♥️
1999 Some were prepping in paranoia in their bunkers for y2k. Tool was fucking shit up
When the Demo Tape sounds better than 90% of other band's best work.
“I cannot toleraaaaaaate” hands down one of MJK’s most gnarly screams. God damn beast.
Awesome guys you guys Rock Hard 👍💕
Damn these guys are good
Saw this tour in Greensboro
The best era of Tool 92-98 IMO there is so much angst and raw ambition oozing through everything they made during this period. Too bad Maynard started loosing his screaming voice in the early 00's and was relegated to the shadows of the stage for reasons not believable but hey its Maynard he had a good 7 or so years sreaming his head off in perfect tune and I guess that extreme pressure on the vocal chords burned his throat up. Danny is always in perfect form and Adam and Justin never disappoint laying down flawless riff after flawless riff. Saw them in 2002 and although epic nothing like this epic era 🤘🏼♥️
That was the crispiest ‘i’ll keep digging’ i’ve heard both in person and via yt
I'll never downvote a recommended TOOL video.
I like this slowed down version of Opiate man. super raw! God damn, and floods litearlly running into Opiate is amazing!

Was this at the Masterdome?
Hahaha. SO different from the stuff they put out now, which I also love. Their early stuff was fantastic, MJK is at his most sarcastic and bombastic.
The middle section of Lateralus was SO TIGHT! Even though Danny was obviously excited, everyone kept up to an atom and made the first ever Lateralus performance absolutely magical.
Where to download?
31 years ago today. I remember there was a pretty big crowd to watch them on the side stage. I also remember them being very loud. That was an awesome day of great music.
"Yeah!" "Fuck that Peach song."
Listening to live tool concerts might have to be the best!
One of the best live versions of 46 and 2. And I’ve heard most of the 90’s recordings
The fucking cross-dressing stripper during 4 Degrees. Tool really had a unique sense of humor. 😂
I was there. First Lowlands ever. Part of the reason to go there. It was phenomenal. After the show Maynard walked past us to the “artists” den.
First Tool show, was 21 at the time
i was at this show, of the many tool shows i've seen, this one is near the top. thanks for the upload, brought back a lot of memories
22:02 holy shit
I love how you can still hear the amateur quality in Maynard's voice from when he was doing C.A.D
The energy in that building !!
Not yet the super technical progressive band that they would later become, effectively dictating a new standard in metal music, progressive or otherwise technically very advanced stuff...in any case, beautiful music anyway. This is already enough to say that they are a band that makes excellent music, the problem is that we just know what albums they have produced in the years to come and those are fucking true masterpieces, oh my God!
That primal growl at 7:45. I don’t remember hearing that on the Opiate recording of Part of Me
One of the best sounding sets on Yt
Where are all the Subs to this channel? This is one of the best uploads I’ve seen & heard, OUT OF MANY!
I was at this very show, was 17 years old at the time. My god has it been 22 years 😮
This demo is better than most bands official lps.
Saw Tool in 2001 but this era and back are on another level Maynard wise. The guys get better with age especially Danny Octopus Arms Carey. Great set list and Tool were on 🔥 this night 👏🏽♥️
maynard is a nut !!! but he is the best there is...Tool 4-ever !!
Qa 1:19:45
this needs to be an album. Maynard is so emotionally involved and it shows. this is great
I was there. The only Tool concert I needed. I was so scared going in that they wouldn't live up to my dreams. And they blew me away. The most spiritual couple of hours in my life.
This is fucking awesome. This was my first tool show..never thought I'd be able to watch it darn near 30 years later. Thanks so much
this is an amazing set list omg
Imagine a world where this was their only source of material, and finding this in a garage sale somewhere lol
The best I've ever heard or seen in my life. Been rocking for over 50 yrs. I've seen everything from ac/DC to led zeppelin live. Get out your best audio equipment & biggest screen
Pleasantly surprised with the audio. It’s not that bad.
Not that bad?
I was in grade 8 when this took place. Damn my parents and my birthdate. Damn them to hell!
I’ve seen a few live Tool shows on here from the ‘00-‘02 era and a few from the ‘94-‘98 era and this has to be the best pre ‘02 show I’ve heard. Thank you for this!!
They put a fuckin ad in right in the middle of Danny’s insane fills on 46&2 wtf
Maybe if their songs would be a little shorter and radio friendly this could be the beginning of a pretty solid career...

Th things they're able to do with th visuals and how they arrange their setup. Idk how they figured this stuff out but it's amazing. Especially if u take some sort of psychadelics th stage literally flows like it's meant to be or something.
Great show
At Coachella? I guess there was a time when this festival had a pair of balls.
