It’s nice enough looking but 747k for a two car garage, unfinished basement where you can almost jump onto your neighbours deck from your own is insane. Home prices in Canada are retarded. 800k is the new 500k
Don’t come. Stay in Ontario
Hello Angela, I'm moving from Sask's crappiest city of Regina towards end of year. I don't want to overpay on a house again, especially at today's interest rates. What time of the year is best to purchase a house here? Do you know much about the surrounding towns?
You miss the pro of lots of mountain biking trails by the river and lots of people on the east side never drive to the west side ever!
I live in Riversdale South, a block from 20th. Despite the foot traffic of diverse populations and realities, I would still choose this neighborhood over the new, cookie-cutter ones on the East side. Rows of houses with no character, empty streets, no real amenities… I don’t have kids or a typical North American obsession with owning a big house with 2+ cars, lots of toys, and things… maybe that’s the difference. I have been in Saskatoon for 10 years and from a very large city outside Canada and I just laugh when people talk about crime here. Bud, you are seriously privileged if you think this is bad 😂
There's no way the national average for a 1 bedroom is $949.
Cons: Mosquitoes, Mosquitoes, Mosquitoes, winter, winter, winter, crime, crime and crime. 😄😃😀
I live in Brighton, and I really like it here. The downside is the weather...... the winters are long /cold/brutal. You'll want a 4x4 vehicle... I saw many people get stuck in Brighton this winter. Also, the transition seasons are long. You are lucky to get 3 months of good stable weather (late July, Aug, Sept, Early Oct).
👍👍
Was you in Canada when shooting this video? The wheel on the right?
LOL. I saw that too but it's her camera. it is in revers mode. We drive on the left let me assure you.
Great video! Appreciate the information and opinions about the different parts of the city & neighborhoods. Wish something like this video was available when I moved to Regina. Will share this with anyone thinking of moving to Saskatoon.
Lol lived in saskatoon, lousy weather, west side crime, downtown crime. East side if you want to overpay for housing like rest of Canada, except to a bit of a lesser extent because as said weather is bad and little to nothing to do or or see.
Very helpful. Thank you Angela. (liked & subscribed)
What day of the week and time of day was this?
I prefer an established neighborhoods to buy a new house. You already sorta know what you are going to be dealing with upon first glance. In new neighborhoods and the hype, it is often hard to tell. Thank you for the video.
rent?
Nice
Here I am in Calgary with a water pipe crisis looking at your beautiful video. For people in their 60s are their condo buildings in Nutana and City Park that are close to amenities and stores, restaurants etc. like Beltline in Calgary?
Hello! The water issue you guys are dealing with right now is so unfortunate. I hope they can clear it up quickly. Nothing quite like Beltlline here but some great condo options is Nutana just off of Broadway which has great restaurants, pubs and stores!
@@realestateagentyxe I think when I come to Saskatoon for my first visit we'll settle down into Nutana indeed.
Good choice 😊
Beautiful architecture and layout design.
Yes, Lexis builds a nice home
THANK YOU---EXCELLENT VIDEO
Glad it was helpful!
How old is it
I wonder if you’ve considered moving? You’re informative and objective, and that’s appreciated, but sounds like you may get more business and have a better life elsewhere…
Haha, maybe!😀 I travel a lot but happy to call Saskatoon home
Thank you.
My pleasure
Thank you for the truth.
You’re welcome
Hdhhehe
No privacy on the grounds, no yard for outdoor living or for dogs to run around.
Really great information here. Thanks for this.
Glad it was helpful!
Its almost like shes speed running her explanation of saskatoon. I feel a "Matt Turk" pcoming

Very interesting in Canada. Here in the USA, real estate agents cannot give advice on good or bad neighborhoods. It's against the law in the USA under "the fair housing act" to voice opinion on neighbrohhods to potential home-buyers on what areas are considered unsafe or safe just like you did in your video. I guess, Canada is different. The 'fair housing act" in the USA forbid real estate agents from giving opinion about a neighborhood as that can encourage hosuing discrimination and that means violating the law.
No, She's breaking the law. She's NOT allowed to do "steering" or any advice claiming that the public should avoid certain neighborhoods over others. In fact if she's a "real estate agent " she's breaking the law in Canada.
@@MR-cm1cu She mentioned in her videos that she is a real estate agent for over 16 years for exp realty in Saskatoon. She is definitely one...I'm not familiar with the real estate rules and regulations in Canada, but you might be.
@@AJ-bh7vmyou’re right . I just double-checked. She literally mentioned in her videos that she’s a “ real estate agent .“ I can certainly tell you that she’s breaking the law here in Canada, but somebody is gonna decide about her claims!!
@@MR-cm1cu She should be reported to the right authorities. It should be easy to report, the video is posted here on KZread, therefore very easy to find and to file a complain.
How much pls

Im half hillbilly. I have a straw hat, and own a snow suit. Im moving to saskhillbillywan...
You had me, until you mentioned the winter. No thank you.
That’s fair! Our winters are significant
Great property! Waiting for my PR to come then I will seek your expertise in looking for a perfect house for me Angela.
Sounds great!
It's no better than anywhere else, neglected and going downhill.
Thank you for this insightful video. What do you have to say about Parkridge?
Parkridge has actually been one of the West side’s gems, in my opinion. I do believe that there are some changes happening within the neighborhood so I am curious to see how they play out to see if things change
Sounds like half of the city is dangerous? Which country is it btw? Somali?
Saskatoon is a dangerous city, it always rank as one of the most dangerous cities in Canada.
@@AJ-bh7vm could you compare it to Zurich? (On the gut feeling level)
I think all cities have some safety issues now, it seems.
Great information Angela. Looking around where is the best place to buy a house in Saskatoon :)
That would depend on your budget and what kind of home you would like.
I would like move me to Saskatoon in 1 or 2 years, and your Channel is very helpful for me! Thank you!! 🥰
Happy it has helped! Please reach out when you are moving here. I will be sure you are taken care of
Thank you for this beautiful video 😊

Hi , can you pls put something about the studio apartment or hostel kind of thing in Saskatoon
I will make a note to add a video about that
Saskatoon truly is a beautiful and affordable city. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. One of the things we appreciated most was how short the distances between places were. Coming from YYZ, it was a refreshing change. However, there were some aspects that caught us by surprise, things nobody really mentions. For instance, the limited daily flights were inconvenient and quite expensive. Also, when it came to finding employment, it seemed like knowing someone was almost a necessity, unless you were content with minimum wage positions. Fortunately, we were able to telework, which worked out well for us. Yet, despite our desire to stay, landing an interview for a job in Saskatoon proved to be nearly impossible without connections. It's a shame that small-town dynamics sometimes mean you have to have an 'in' with a company to even be considered. But overall, our time in Saskatoon was memorable, and we're grateful for the experience.
You're lucky you didn't end up living in that godforsaken province. Life is short, don't live in Saskatchewan.
I am very accustomed to tey flights but do envy the ease of what bigger centers have to offer for air travel. I’m sorry to hear your employment experience here. That would have been very frustrating
That reflection in your glasses is intended to hypnotize me into buying... right?
I never thought of it that way, haha! But definitely need some adjustments to my recording space to get rid of that
Why don’t you give me the price?
Hi
so basically she is saying it is not good at all
