    So compost will keep the soil at a decently higher temperature so that plants can survive winter. Can it also be mixed with Styrofoam to keep the soil well airated.

    Will system like this work for recycling a shower and kitchen water? I was told to have a home in Arizona i need a septic system. But i don't think it's a good idea to mix a poop and kitchen water together when i could be recycling the kitchen water with distillation in the most desert no water areas.

    Boy, I cannot believe such hateful comments made over all of these years. The tree is looking great now, you have to have a vision for the future...and understand your local climate extremes. Most people look at this from areas where they get lots of rain and excessive growth. Growth here is far more compact due to climate. What were your visions of this tree? How would you have prepared it for the future. It is easy to criticize others when you are not there doing the work yourself. I would bet every one here who offers up criticism would not go on camera and take on a job like this thinking they are perfect. If you paid attention during the video, I did say sealing pruning cuts is controversial, you don't need to do it if that is what you prefer. However, I do not agree with Dr. Shigo and the studies he did in the Pacific NW. While I believe smaller cuts do not need treatment, I have seen large cuts begin rotting due to decay before the wound could close. These things need to be considered, you cannot make blanket statements for all trees in all regions. I have never lost a tree due to my techniques. Again, I cannot believe how hateful so many people can be. I hope those of you who express your outrage can channel it into something positive in this world, because I would like to see what you have done to help others and improve your surroundings.

    UV treatment is 1 of several treatment steps needed for purifying water for your fish. I am investigating this for my Tilapia production facility. This however would be great to have after your box filter on your aquarium that is fed water from your undergravel filter. My point is you need several steps to keep the water healthy.

    Wow! This is amazing information. My Pontree in El Paso Texas gave me the smallest pecans. I have ever seen in all my life. It’s a large tree that came with the property. It’s very tall and has a trunk diameter of 16 inches. My question is, what if I have other plants and flowers surrounding the tree. Not at the trunk I mean at the drip line in different parts of the backyard. Will the zinc and nitrogen fertilizer kill them?

    Bunch of people in these comments who can’t handle the truth. Even if you dont keep your veggies by the sink, what do you keep, maybe a sponge? The soap bottle? I doubt you’re thinking to wash the soap bottle much. It’s always “its never happened to me” until it does.

    A barrel isn't necessarily the best tool for the job, but it will work in a pinch. The design shown in the video is more productive for distilling water because the area for condensation is greater and at an angle to naturally create more coverage for evaporated water to cling to for collection. The water is closer to the 1st stage of collection and depending on the area and size of the glass you use, it might be a lot of water you could be collecting.

    Using dirty/contaminated water to produce drinking water is much better than the mass produced mechanisms that extract water from the air. Extracting moisture from the air robs water from the future - less dew, less rain

    I get very confused when someone says "point and don't aim". What exactly separates pointing from aiming? Isn't pointing basically a form of aiming and isn't aiming really just pointing? Coud someone clearly define the difference between those two for me?

  • @bolshoefeodor6536
    @bolshoefeodor653610 ай бұрын

    Aiming meams you focus on the sight - i.e. you are intensely staring at the bead. Pointing means you focus on the bird, and it's almost like you line the gun up out of the corner of your eye (at least that is how I try to apply the concept).

  • @VLK-73
    @VLK-7310 ай бұрын

    @@bolshoefeodor6536 Thank you. Would the "pointing" concept also work with a rifle and a handgun? I have watched some videos of highly accomplished rifle and handgun shooters, saying you should not focus on the sights, but rather the target (essentially the same thing I hear about working with the shotgun) This is why I'm so confused with this terminology.

  • @dannym670
    @dannym6703 ай бұрын

    @@VLK-73the easiest way to explain it is this, have you ever played darts? When you throw the dart at the board you're not aiming the dart with your eye down the barrel, you'll just focus on the target that you're aiming at and instinctively throw the dart.
