King is a sick and twisted individual. The perversion of his heart and mind is revealed in his books. Just look at the subject matter of his stories. His work is definitely demonically influenced. Be careful what you read people. Your choice of reading material influences your thinking.

I just rewatched it for the first time since it aired, it drags a little bit and the special effects can feel dated, but I'll give that a pass because this was filmed in like late 2000. Still pretty good overall, I'll go with a 7.5/10.

I saw that a actor had gone missing hiking and they recently found his remains but i couldnt remember where id seen him, its the britt from this. Weird how i watch this and then know who he was.

I watch rose red at leasttttt 5 times a year I wish it got more recognition when it first came out it took a bit for people to see this and really appreciate this I would give a arm and a titty for there to be a number 2😭

I love the mini-series. Perfectly cast, filmed, etc. Sets amazing. Once you get past the beginning where the actors are selling the series, you get to interesting and less "ra-ra" info. I saw this back in the early 2000s when it was first broadcast. I bought it on DVD - but haven't seen it on streaming, and my DVD has been in storage for 10 years :-(. So disappointed that this is not on streaming media. I've checked Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, Apple, AMC, & HBO Max. I finally found it here on KZread just recently. I'm sure it will be taken down again soon...

Those actors and actresses who played the role of the "real people being interviewed" are phenomenal, much better than the ones from the movie, they are so believable, and they should have been on the movie.
That 39:00 and 3:42 Just gave me goosebump, Jony ive + Music in the background....Apple sure know how to produce astounding advertisements.

I love the movie, If only the two issues I have are the editing/color correction and the CGI was a victim of its time and budget. I used to work at the Winchester Mystery House. I never found it frightening or strange, but the grounds were more haunting. I used to love cleaning in the cold winter when tours were low and relaxing with coworkers in the stock rooms. Fun times.

I remember when I first watched Rose Red, the entire plot with professor Miller ended very oddly. In the beginning of the film he had a pretty prominent role and it faded out prematurely. Learning now that he actually passed away before he could finish this film makes it make sense. It makes me wonder how the movie would have ended if he didn’t pass away.
