Which series of lessons would you recommend for someone like me who has long lasting anxiety and chronic pain. I have been trapped in these patterns for years and it is all in the body. Thank you…I just did this lesson and it helped a lot as prior to doing it I was just vibrating with horrible anxiety which has been exhausting me.

Thank you so much for addressing the issue of hypermobility in Feldenkrais! There are probably a lot of hypermobile people taking Feldenkrais classes (especially online) because of chronic pain who have not been given this crucial advice. Possibly because of that, people often say that Feldenkrais is not helpful for hypermobility - but it has been very helpful for me in making my PT much more do-able. But i am very lucky because my first Feldenkrais teacher gave me this advice from the beginning. It would be wonderful if the information in this video could be presented at an online meeting or similar. 🙂

I’ve just been on this journey of finding more and more effective things lately to heal all that pains me. And every time I find a new one I’m like oh my God this is going to heal me. And in a way it does. But then I find something even better. And needless to say this is probably the best thing I’ve found in a long time. This combined with what I see on your channel that is. I’m going to have to take it slow though and do one class each day for a while because pretty much everything on this channel is relevant to me. Especially the link between anxiety and the neck, shoulders and the pelvic floor. Thank you.

Thank you for the lesson. Question: can this lesson be repeated daily to help with multiple issues in the lumbar and thoracic spine?.✌️
@MovementCreativity3 ай бұрын
Hi - Feel free to repeat the lesson as often as feels good to you! Of course consult with your doctor if you have any concerns about that. In my experience, engaging in a variety of lessons is supportive as our brains/ bodies love novelty. Here is David's full Liberate Your Spine series: www.feldenkraisaccess.com/a/34496/uUQssTAu (affiliate link). And here is a link to a 7 day free trial of Movement & Creativity Library where you can access hundreds of lessons searchable by different lengths of time, themes, positions, teachers.... www.movementandcreativity.com/library

I don't find lying on my stomach super comfortable but I did this nice gentle lesson with my feet pointed towards the floor hanging over the edge of my bed as l was on my stomach. The movement of turning my legs from side to side felt amazing on my lower back and sciatica. I'll remember this to help my back when needed. It's a problem area for me after bending and stooping too much.
