Six years ago we said Goodbye to our lives in America and moved to Malaysia. Selling our home and buying one way tickets jumpstarted our New Life of adventure.

Did you think about going overseas like to England, Germany, Stockholm, Amsterdam? I know they are kind of expensive but it would be some good content and I think you and your husband is such a cute couple. God bless you and something. I always tell my kids all this shit pass.
Yes…we have thought of that. We actually have a trip set for September, it will be our first time in Europe…and yes Europe is expensive as well. 😔

I went to New Orleans in August for a family reunion. Someone had told me to pack white clothing which I did! Many of the activities we “ran” into requested white clothing! My hubby and I crashed many parties that summer that weren’t part of our family reunion. I’ve went back several times after Katrina because I wanted to support the city. I need to go back soon.

Nother idea, water line, boat tours , city views, city layout , what kids do, high school sports? Park actiities (tai ctyhi, movies), local band concerts, city events of the week, swap meets? Wierd sports, Dog rescue (local KZreadrs). tbanks

NOLA!! Hey you two. 💜 We met a while ago at the Black Nomads in Georgia. Sending love and seeing you reunited with your van. We have been to New Orleans, our van got shot within 3 hours. 😬 all was well and we would return. Still a bit wary to sleep overnight, curious about these spots you mentioned, they look great!

ACCURATE DOCUMENTATION when entering ANY foreign country is VITAL.! and make copies (paper three times in separate places and email yourself copies ALSO! Never had one problem in MEXICO. Sorry your experience was concerning. Get a MEXICAN (American) resident to advocate for you instead of your self being placed in a awkward position.
