    How much trigger pull after removing the firing pin block?

    As a left handed competitor and former LE firearms instructor, a slide release on the right side is unnecessary. When shooting it is best to train to release the slide by pulling it to the rear and releasing it. It’s a gross muscle movement that works better under stress and functions any semi automatic.

    I needed this so bad. Was starting to have issues with my trigger and firing mechanism and needed this to start seeing why. Thank you so much for this video!

    Any idea where I can find a spring and pin replacement? Mine is seized. Makes it so I had to push on the side of release to insert mag to get it to lock. Everywhere I look they’re out of stock.

    I'm having issues removing the first pin how much pressure do you need to punch it out? I felt like I was pressing down so hard and the pin wouldn't budge

    How many rounds do you have through it now? How has it held up? I have had to replace the recoil spring on mine. So far it's been my only problem.

    Great video. Love how careful and diligent you were getting it leveled and with Blue Loctite on the screws. I know I'm gonna wake up screaming with that Irish jig music in my head tonight! :D

    This is a super easy gun to disassemble. The engineers really refined the CZ style pistol.

    "Thehumblemarksman" did a review on this G3C and his only problem was the trigger safety did not work. I have watched it a few times and read others comments and I don't understand what he did or didn't do that the safety did not work. You made it work perfectly. They all kept saying about posing the trigger or something like that. They said he pulled the trigger back 90% and then set the safety and it would not work. You look like you did the exact same thing but yours worked. Maybe he was pulling the trigger so far back and then set the safety and that is why it fired anyway. You set the safety before touching the trigger and it worked fine. I will have to watch yours again on that part a few times and if I buy one. Can't afford a trigger safety failure. Thanks. 🙂 Can we just remove the slide and use the compressed air in a can for electronics and contact cleaner that does not harm plastic or even isopropyl alcohol that I have used for many years in electronics cleaning on parts boards and switches. Then blow it all out with the compressed air in a can. That stuff works amazing. I can't see taking everything apart down to the tiniest pieces just to clean it. We are not all gunsmiths with photographic memories like you. Thanks. 😁

  • @JohnSmith-uy7sv
    @JohnSmith-uy7sv2 ай бұрын

    Why...did "WE" take this all apart? are you telling "US"/"ME" that it has to be completely taken apart like this after so many rounds to be cleaned??? Or do "WE" have to take it to a gunsmith to have it cleaned after so many thousands of rounds??? If all guns are this way, why do people have them? It would be like totally disassembling your car and engine after so many years or 100,000 whatever and clean each part. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Famous old saying........."IF it ain't broke....Don't fix it." 🤪 I believe that very much especially for this gun or any gun. A carpenters claw hammer to work on a pistol gun. 🤣 now that.... is HILARIOUS. You need a small rubber mallet or small ball peen hammer. That is the one and only thing that you forget in each of your videos. You never say the reason for the disassembly for each part or for how often it would need to be taken apart. Thanks so much. 😍

    when I watch your videos like the last one on total disassembly of the G3 I adjust the video speed down to 0.75 one down from normal. This time, I could not see what you did or a spring. Besides the music almost making me insane and thought I was watching the movie from..."Deliverance" from years ago. The last video the guitar music was ok and low enough but this was too loud and I could not turn it down. What is the reason for removing this nuclear bomb part that only a rocket scientist can do? Will I need to take mine apart eventually? I will ask next to my question.. @jmarie9237 what happened to her's. I hope I am not going to have problems with this after shooting a few hundred rounds. I wish you could have had better lighting and a closer view of everything inside. You needed a mini camera scope or something. Did you make a video of removing or replacing the trigger assembly too??? Are there upgrade parts for the G3C like the main spring for the trigger shell ejector? Not familiar with the name yet. thanks. 😁

    Wow!!! that was totally amazing. I have never ever seen anyone that took their time, nice and slow, showed each piece in his hand. Totally amazing. I am thinking about getting the G3C but they say you many have to polish inside the barrel where the ammo goes into with a small dremel round buffer to rub out the coating so the ammo does not hang up and not eject. There is no way I thought I was going to find a video with the total disassembly and I did. Thank you so much. I knew nothing about this gun and it is easier to remove parts than the Glock 43 that I have watched. I think you have done this a few times or so. 🤣 I am saving this video in case I buy the Taurus G3C. Any pointers on why some are having problems with the ammo casing getting stuck in the barrel and not falling out? I have read a few complaints. I will have to watch this again now. I am so happy. Thank you again. Woo Hoo!! 😍 I loved how you immediately got to work and did not waste any time. You got down business.

    I'm assuming you've replaced the cheap "Hollow tube" pine that comes with the gun, with the "Solid Steel" pin that the CZ Custom Shop sells for $6 each. I've bought several of these solid steel replacements. And I'm waiting to see just how long the cheap, hollow pin will last.

    these are different. I was always told never to dry fire a gun as it would damage the trigger. Now these ones you can pull the trigger all day long and they recommend it to practice aiming and pulling the trigger to get used to doing it quickly. 🙂

    This may be a little late, but you are not supposed to sand the bottom of the plate, these mounting plates are designed to be installed with a sight pusher with high pressure and are meant to be an extremely tight fit. If they aren't pushed in with the hundred+ pounds the sight pusher provides they will work themselves loose over time and will alter your zero, you will be making constant sight adjustments. If you cant get it in even with a sight pusher, then you sand it, a very tiny bit at a time. You can always remove material, but you can't put it back on.

    The gap under the mount is a bit worrisome. Any issues after lots of use? Would be nice to be able to put some bedding compound under the mount. Sliding in sideways would make that tricky.
