My channel aims to help those who aspire to be a caregiver in Japan and pass the national caregiver certification exam. Along the way, I'll share snippets of my personal life and what it's like living and working in this country.

I can’t wait to see where this journey will take us. Don’t forget to subscribe, so we can connect and you don't miss out on any of my videos!

    Hello Nikko. I am a Brazilian aiming to become a caregiver in Japan. I will move in 2026 to study in a medical school in Japan. I heard that after 2026 those who graduated from a medical school in japan will need to take the test too... So if i fail in the test i will have to back to my home country? even though i will be a graduated from a japanese medical school??? What will happen with those who studied care giving in Japan? I am really worried...

  • @NikkoVenture
    @NikkoVenture24 күн бұрын

    Hi! Though it's true that on 2026 onwards ALL graduates of caregiving colleges here in Japan will be required to pass the 介護福祉士国家試験 to become a 介護福祉士, there are no limits on how many times you take the exam. Even if you failed on your first try, as long as you still have a valid visa to legally stay here in Japan for another year, you are not required to go back home. As long as you have a valid visa, you can retake the exam as many times as you want until you pass it. Now, if you don't have a valid visa and you failed the exam, that's the time you should go back home. Continue to study there and once you're confident enough, re-apply for the exam online and apply for a 短期Visa - a type of visa that will allow you to stay in Japan for around a month, I think. With a 短期 Visa, you can come here to Japan for the sole purpose of retaking the exam. You can do this indefinitely, I believe, as long as you graduated from a caregiving college here in Japan. 頑張ってください。😁👍

    @@NikkoVenture Thank You. But after i finish my medical school i will be allow to work only if i pass the Kaigo Exam, right?? I cant exercise the kaigo profession without pass the test even though i studied in a Japanese medical school, correct? I am asking this because i will go with a student visa. So, if after the medical school i dont pass the exam, idk if i will be able to get another kind of visa to stay in japan and try it again. I am afraid of have to back to my home country.

    I don't know why you would like to even get a job in Japan because they discriminate. They are very into their culture and don't want to mix other cultures in their culture, in all aspects. If you more qualify for a job, they would not pick you but a Japanese

  • @NikkoVenture

    Some people’s options in life are limited - very limited. Sometimes it’s either Japan where you earn a bit more but will be discriminated OR stay in your home country, not be discriminated against but live in severe poverty. 😅 Sometimes people don’t make the decision to work abroad and be discriminated. Sometimes it’s their circumstance that decides it for them. 😊

    Hi, Ma'am. On principle, SSW will have a more competitive salary rate compared to trainees. But there are a lot of factors to consider as well. These factors will affect your salary rate. Such factors may include but are not limited to the trainee/worker’s technical and language skills. Of course, even if you are SSW and your friend is TITP, if your friend excels in technical skills and 日本語 than you, expect to have a lower rate than your friend. Even if you transition from TITP to SSW, but your technical and language skills remain the same, expect that your salary may also remain the same. Even if you’re now SSW. Company rates - some companies offer a higher salary rate regardless if you’re TITP or SSW. Some trainees are lucky enough to work in a company that has a better salary offer compared to others. So, even if you’re a TITP, but your company offers a huge rate, you’ll have a better salary than an SSW who works in a cheap company. The bottom line is that becoming an SSW will not guarantee an immediate salary increase. As a worker, you also have to show that you are deserving for a better salary rate as an SSW. Kindly remember that becoming an SSW is a privilege NOT a right. And becoming an SSW will not immediately give you a better rate. Even if you’re an SSW but your specific industrial skills are still comparable to a TITP trainee, please expect a trainee salary. 😊 There are still a lot of factors to consider, though. Just remember, becoming an SSW will give you a huge chance to receive company bonuses and other benefits that a trainee may not receive. SSW will also allow you to work and live here in Japan with your family FOREVER. A trainee can NEVER do that. Lastly, TITP will be abolished anytime soon. TITP will no longer exist in the near future. 😁 Thank you for commenting!
