Run by socialists especially the Khrushchev look alike/wanna be governor. Oh by the way change the state flag on your thumbnail. It's now resembling a Somali flag. Yeah..... F all the people who actually settled the state and got it to where it is today.

How do you skip the entire city of St. Paul? I would understand if this is the best place to live in Minneapolis, but you said Minnesota. On top of that, you include Duluth, which is one of the fastest-growing cities in the US. It seems like this is based off Europe. I totally understand, but you portrayed the video to be more based on actual events, which is odd when you miss so many other cities and focus just on Minneapolis.

2:56 Duluth and surrounding areas have the same issues. I think Rochester and St. Cloud have some of those same things. 4:25 how about that lovely smell of fermenting fall leaves after the snow melts in October. 😂😂😂 6:51 Minnesota has some of the best museums, theatres, the ren fest, there are just so many things to do year round. In the winter go sledding it’s a great time. 9:30 the state needs to make its mind up on tobacco, public transportation vs cars, they forcing public transportation in one city and the other city is all about cars. 10:31 air quality has become awful due to those forest fires. 11:50 the light pollution from the cities in suburban areas that are 30-50 minutes away. It’s insane to see orange clouds at night from the city lights. 14:23 the cost of living is comparable to the seven cities in commonwealth of VA. You can also use the military BAH lcalculator too. E-5 with dependents tells you the most expensive it will be.

If you want to complain about taxes, you can in Minnesota. On the other hand, you'll get a much better quality of life as a result. Snow haters will hate Minnesota but if you have any sense, you can easily deal with cold and snow. Crime is actually pretty low compared to other cities and nonexistent in some parts. Politically Minnesota is generally more democratic than republican. The Twin Cities is NOT the only blue area as the far northern Iron Range used to be very pro-democrat. Now much of that is changing as the Democrats shed their working-class base. Nevertheless, cities such as Duluth can still count on being blue. Your comments about schools are unfortunately true. I worked in the schools in Bloomington but I student taught in Soth Minneapolis. Minneapolis and St. Paul schools are very stressed, but the suburbs are very different.

I'm not surprised at all. I live in southern Minnesota and I've visited just a couple of times and immediately knew that the twin cities are shitholes. Clear abandonment by the local and state governments. Homeless everywhere, dirty streets, gangs, potholes, broken down buildings, and an extremely racist police force. I don't feel safe walking at night in most places there.

If you are a transplant in MN I would encourage you to first seek out other transplants as they will understand what you are going through. It can be lonely. It took several years but we finally moved to a neighborhood where everyone genuinely wants to get together, hang out and get to know one another. There is hope!

Minnesota is the best. I recommend Duluth. Green Bay, is the city, most like Minnesota. Just looked at Green Bay, WI, a VERY nice place to live, with NO natural disaster problems at all, unless you live right on the river-possible flooding. Help wanted everywhere. Min pay is $15/hour for a starter fast food job. No private schools, so a good education is free for the kids. We were just at the city-owned amusement park. Kiddie rides are 25cents. Adult rides are 50cents-1dollar. Tuesdays the kiddie rides are free. It is just across from the very large wildlife sanctuary, which is free. 2BR, 1BA apartment less than 1000 sq ft for under $1k/month. Larger 2BR, 1BA townhouse $1100/month. Nearby decent 3BR, 2BA for $1400/month. No traffic. No crime. No bad neighborhoods. Parks EVERYWHERE. When U drive out of town, more and more, and bigger and bigger parks. In Green Bay, a number of houses are available between $100k-$200k. The best state is Minnesota, but Green Bay, is similar to Minnesota, and I think, the best place to live in Wisconsin, overall.

His view on crime rates here is positively ridiculous. The only reason arrests are down is because we're so short on law enforcement. They all quit after the riots. Literally, the only precinct that's properly staffed is the airport. Crime is up, arrests are down, and those arrested get out with a slap on the wrist thanks to Mary Moriarty.
