It’s funny that the thumbnail and some of the stock images of “st Paul” are of the Minneapolis downtown…

Just sold my house in mac groveland. So glad to be out of the cities and minnesota!

St. Paul is a fantastic place to live.

Taxes are high but st paul is much safer than other big cities, food and entertainment is great... you can get pretty much whatever you want from BbQ to Italian, Asian, or latin... even eastern block food and middle eastern. There's a college next city over so if you want D1 college, or pro sports like baseball, hockey, basketball, football, or soccer, all the pro sports are covered there too. Lakes and nature and farmland aren't far away if that what you want and Winters aren't as harsh anymore either. No mountains for people who want to hike and only average to below average for skiers but it's there.... Lindsey Vaughn is a minnesotan.

I'm glad Highland Park made the list. I lived there when I graduated from college and got my first job in Minneapolis. Not too bad of a drive from St. Paul to Minneapolis (some days where bad), but you are so close theHockey

The Twin Cities is grouped with Denver, Seattle and Portland when looking at metro areas, and one of the advantages the Twin Cities has is the quality of the houses built early in the 20th century. The houses are beautiful, and even in the low income areas you see beautiful homes with incredible wood work. You either don't get that in the other cities or there are much fewer homes of that quality. It was funny when he showed the homes in the first neighborhood, and stated "these are not grand homes", because in other places those would be considered the houses of wealthy people, and where I live in LA those houses would be multiple millions of dollars.

Is st paul safe area. I see crime rate chart is colored orange and red😢

He didn't mention the east side neighborhood of case and Payne. Great place to raise a family.

Lovely state in USA

Taxes are unbelievably HIGH, Poor city services. The Mayor will not confront gangs or criminals. He continues to handcuff the police. Do not walk alone. Never go downtown at night by yourself.
