Did they stop making these? I'm from Canada and I go on their website, I don't see any of these for sale. Also, just got a new 1200X so maybe they are making them for the new 2024 versions?

Nice video. Your bike has changed quite a bit in three years!

The space between your front wheel and the high mudguard looks unusually large, compared to my XC at least. Is that just due to the angle of the photo or did you do something to achieve that? Thanks in anticipation for your response

Kudos for even considering it. I find these kind of conditions sketchy on a eMTB so I think I'll wait till trails dry out to give it a go on the XC !

Iam riding a Ultra Limited 2021 and want to go back to a light bike. Teh Scrambler 1200XE is my most favorite but for 2 up riding and luggage is not the best v For the mss?! This bike is a “Plastic Fantastic” look bike. I like bikes made of steel. Maybe i take a 900 tiger for a spin….

Thank you man. I think these were the Pirelli STR Rally tyres, but I may be mistaken. Tread pattern is the same. I know on the Triumph Adv Experience the Tiger 900's were kitted out with Metzler Karoo 3's. Both performed great.

They exhaust heat doesn’t bother either of you?
@unparalleledtwin5280 Жыл бұрын
No, it was honestly the least of our worries, even with the cat in place. Heat is definitely there when stationery at lights/junctions, but nothing crazy. We both touched base on it in this video, and I can't recommend the Scram 1200 enough for 2 up riding.

Thanks bud. That's amazing, you honestly won't regret it. I find the XC being a weapon on road, and slightly nicer/more planted to ride with the front end rake, narrower bars etc, than the XE. I mean the asphalt is truthfully where you spend most of your time anyway! How did you get on? Take the plunge and go for one?

I actually fabricated this during lockdown. It's an ally oval number board that I bent and drilled to fit, then cut out my own design from some black vinyl. I enjoyed making it and adding my own personal stamp on the Scram.

Hey, Love this video. And it is sooo informative. I am about to pull the trigger on a scrambler. I took the XE out and it’s Just a little bit too tall. It would be fine for me but I want to take my wife on it as well. I suppose my question is.. what is your height and weight Matt. I’m about 6ft and 15.5 stone. My thought is with my wife and luggage the xe would be roomier? Also with the luggage rack you have would you need a new tail tidy or does the stock on still fit with that rack? 😃😃. Thanks again for the video 😃😃
