Tried the psycho, wasn't that impressed
Can you share more? Did you try it in good wind?
@@enjoiful I like the direct feel an orbit gives, this kite seems to have more of a delay. Also it didn't feel that powerful in 23 knots. An orbit pro 8m gave me more fun than a 9m psycho.
How do they both compare to the nitro performance wise?
We stopped selling Cabrinha due to quality issues, so I don't know how they compare. Sorry.
@@Adventurekiteboardingthx, np! Quality issues with the inflate valve on the 23 models? Or different ones?
Waste of time clip.....
How does the Psycho bar pressure compare to the Pivot?
I finally got out on the 10m Psycho in strong wind and can say the bar pressure is about the same as the Pivot Nvision 12m
Does the psycho have to mutch pull on the loops?
not much pull with the psycho. Similar feel to an evo
@@Sam.constable and boots like a rebel?
" too much pull in the loops" is a subjective term. Compared to what?
How does they weight compare?
on our scale, the Vortex 9m is 5.17lbs and the Psycho 10m is 7.29 pounds. The Nvision Pivot 12m is 7.32 pounds.
@@Adventurekiteboarding Thanks!
I always appreciate your reviews!
square meters of the RRD ?
This happens from time to time. Someone asks a question we really can't answer because the video is so old. This was published 7 years ago. None of these foils are even made anymore. Sorry, can't help you on this.
@@Adventurekiteboarding it's ok! It's just that i can't find any info on the net about the sq meteres, not even from the official site. Thank you anyway!
I watch both your Vortex and Psycho video. What are the main difference between the two : light winb performance, hangtime, boost, easiness of use, stability in gusts.... Keep going with your great work!
Vortex has lighter bar pressure and more hang time. Psycho has quicker pull off the water and medium bar pressure. Both are excellent jumping kites.
You need to spin the gopro around so you can see the kite
For sure.
The cabrinha uses nano double ripstop not single ripstop?Or am i wrong?
Yes, they just call it "Nano Ripstop", but it is double ripstop
@@Adventurekiteboarding Yes but nano is not the same as other ripstop. Squares are also smaller therefore it is called nano and should be stronger?
my understanding is the Apex kites and wings are the same material as duotone's SLS. But rather than say that, each brand is using their own name for the same materials.@@MeneerWim
Apex and sls referes to the type of dacron frame not the ripstop canopy but yes i think it would be almost the same thing.
*promo sm* 😩
Hello do you have some blueprints for that ?
This is not mule, its just pre production piece. On of many.

Whoa! At 80% only getting 30kW😢. I'm assuming top 20% is about 30kW, which means you're spending more than an hour just to complete 80% -100%😢😵💫. They better iron those bugs out, because Ultium is capable of 350kW. For 350kW, I'm expecting the low end of that to be 80kW minimum, not 30kw at 80%.😢 So at 90% it's probably dropping to 15kW, wow! That's Chevy Bolt numbers. That's completely unacceptable for a 2024 product with such a large battery.
Typical Signet charger for EA sadly
But you shouldn’t be charging to 100% anyways at these stations. If anything it’s good so people stop hogging the stations after 80% which is the recommended daily charge limit but on road trips you won’t be charging that high either with the range of this beast
that's all ???? !!!!! 🤣🤣
Thank you for sharing 👀👀 your video is very good, I love it. 👍👍 Nice to meet you. ❤❤
Will it burn as good as the Bolts?
Different battery platform. Same as the Hummer EV. I know you were being facetious but just stating the obvious. GM said this year will end the Bolt production to focus on the Ultium platform
@@DazedSeanbolt production is back on actually. They’ll be creating an Ultium Bolt
nice ... how much wind and is the height and hang time higher than average LEI's, or compared to duotone Dice ?
Sorry, I don't know as I was only out on this one kite that day. Plus, I've never ridden a Dice.
Great pics and coverage
Shit. Zero pulley!!!Is it bad?
no ... like duotone rebel, N°1 - 5 trust kite in the world
So much useful info in this video 140 kwh into delivered and that is only 62% of the battery! Woah that’s massive
Agreed that is a lot of charge capacity possibly the WT3(?) The SOC is showing in the frame before is 80% (@6:08) The WT3 range should be 350 miles. The fans running sound is what I assume is the heat pump that were going quite strong which is a good thing for active battery management (Ford is missing that). Nice look at a WT test mule, except for the missing color coordinated white lower face plate on the front and the missing lenses and body molding parts. The inside look did not give away too much. Overall, I think Chevy has a winner here. - At $72k Hmmmm That is a lot for a causal 1/2 ton work truck / daily driver mode of transportation. I still plan to keep my reservation and order when available (sometime next year?) I am clueless on what the RamRev is offering..... So not holding my breath for that one.
@Jon VB that is mixing cars and trucks that are for different purposes. The chevy half ton looks like I can retire the ICE half ton models we currently run now on job sites and come out much more efficiently than we do now. We also want that battery offering with chevy so towing options will be available between job sites when needed
Very cool find
Basically an Orbit
but lighter and quicker
Isn’t this just a switchblade?
nope
They brought the nitro name back, I had a Cabrinha nitro in 2004
If I buy bar does it come with pet duck?
The duck is not a pet.
now my duck chase me up tree!!
how about bar pressure? is it similar to switchblade?
No, much lighter than the Switchblade. More like the Moto X.
my least choice for colours are black/ yellow , i will never buy this colours
i really dont understand how they are charging 660 for less ... i am trying to figure out how i am going to make my own lol
Here in the USA, we are not charging that much!
...💥👍
Are you at the dealer meeting?
I was, I'm back already
Wow, maybe next time, show the bar set up, and demonstrate the depower! It's like showing a new car without even opening the doors. Crappy video!
So how many knots you were overpowered on the 17m?
I don't remember, this video is three years old
Can I transport 2small travel golfbags too?😊
It's not a s27 bar. It is just a torque 2 with a new QR system from Ocean Rodeo. And it's really a piece of s**t. S27 will be with QR from old Torque 1. You can already see it in the pro-kiters posts on instagram.
Please tell me how to change the put tube
call us at the shop
Does the stopper ball moves up and down to adjust depower length?
There isn't really a stopper ball. It's just a blocking ball to keep the bar from hitting the trim cleat when the bar is all the way out. It isn't adjustable.
It is adjustable, but really hard the first time.
OR Shift bar is one of the best I owned and try for the last 12 years! great for hydro foiling and wave riding has huge depower!
Like the bars, the small diameter is super comfy! Chicken loop resets easy. Leash is nice, but I don't care for the small carbineer on the leash - hard to manipulate, especially in cold weather.
Gives us some commentary on what you think. I always like your take on products! 🙂
Thanks! You have the best review videos!!🤙🏼
Could you squish a couple of kites in there with a board?
Only if they are trainer kites.
....sorry...but the hose of the WTF pump are the worst of my 20 years experience.....they just keep on breaking....!!!....and also the second version it's a shit! Before exactly because they where flexible they never had problems!!! Cheers!

Hello I'm a bit confused as you say it is easy to remove 2 lines but I cannot find any people saying they used this kite for a 4 lines cab kite. Have you tried it ? Thanks
Well, we've sold dozens of them so people are using them just fine. But to be clear, the bar is converted to 4 lines and used only on 4 line kites, not the Chaos kite which requires 6 lines.
@@Adventurekiteboarding I was a bit confusing. I meant "I cannot find any people saying they used this bar for a 4 lines cab kite. So you confirm I can use it with my switchblades then? Thanks
@@augustinvian2085 yes, you can use it with any Switchblades from 2014 or newer
what a great review. thanks. We don't see close up reviews like this very often. Any idea how low you can go w/ a 12m Flite? Can you ride a TT down to 10-12 knots on a lightwind board?
Maybe. It depends on your weight and skill. Unless you are really light, even if you can do it, I wouldn't expect it to be rockin' though.
MY EARS!
*I am really happy with this suit and purchase overall>>>**nub.best/dfmo** We dove upstate NY and Canada down to about 43 degrees F thus far and it has worked great. The quality is very high and I anticipate it will wear well for years. The only downside is the time and energy to get in and out of such a thick suit. But that is to be expected considering the thickness and acceptable considering one's desire to prevent hypothermia. :) At depth it does compress a little more so will have to get used to compensating for that, which you learn after a couple of dives.*
