Come on Lads, you must have a forward pit 52 in build by now. SHOW US!!!!!!!.......)) Also, it cant be beyond the wit of man to design some kind of swing-out chair to make that port side chart-table usable despite it being so close to the steps. For my taste you lot are leading the way at the moment in this size cat. I admit to being a big fan of the new O52, but the "behind the panels" effect loses a few points for me.

Have you thought about adding a small wind turbine on top of the mast for additional electricity generation or is that a bad idea?

what if you had one side stayed as aft cockpit with seat like the Wynns have on their HH44 articulate in and out with the wheel, and one chair with tiller on one side on the forward cockpit version. You would have all three option available for those want to sit outside together and sail with all the other people socializing in the aft area behind and one tiller for all the excitement one single person want to have. No other catamaran has this option. This would be an amazing selling point. Best of all worlds.

Hey HH, many people want higher performance but still with safety. The achiles heal of all sail is still the spped or lack of. Have you ever thought about trying to create a full foiling boat based on the same concept as the iFly 15? They're using simple mechanical controls but I could see computerised flight as being an option to keep the boat even more stable. When you look at modern fighter aircraft, almost all are inherently unstable and can only be flown with the assistance of the flight computer. Without that they'd crash. I can't see in priniciple why such a system couldn't be put on a boat to cotnrol the foil surfaces like on the iFly but with faster response and many more adjustments per second to keep the boat level and enable a smooth transition from flight to water or vice versa. The advantages of full flight are obvious from iFly and that is low initial very flight speed, around 4 knots on that boat although a heavy catamaran alebit with larger foils would probably need a few more knots of wind. The other advantage is top speed. When you look at the out and out racing catamarans such as Arkea Ultim boats, then top speed can be over 50 knots. Obviously you wouldn't want that in a cruising boat, but the heavier design of a luxury interior would probably take care of that anyway. However, imagine a cruising boat that could do 30, maybe even 40 knots with complete stability and level flight with double wind speed at lower speeds.....

Naw, too many problems. If the owner of a youtube channel with over 600K subs and millions of views has so many problems with their 6 month old boat is any indication, stay away. I had one of the first PDQ Antares 44's only problem in the first two years was a starter battery. But then again it was a Canadian made boat, Hard to beat Canadian workmanship. From what people tell me, even the new ones made in Argentina are still very good with little to no problems To all the manufacturers out there, if you are selling to a youtuber, you better be on your game, in this case HH is not The funny thing is, they will say, But were stand by our work and we are fixing it. I say if you did good work, it wouldn't need to be fixed

5-18-24. After watching Jason and Nikki's Wynn's vids taken at the HH factory and interviews with the Hakes management, ,staff and the construction artisans its clear that the HH engineering, and carbon fiber materials assemblies in their Catamarans is superior to all others. There there is the fact that that Wynns after years of considerable sailing experience and boat replacement investigation chose to buy Hull #3 of the initial HH44OC production. We have had an in depth video tour of the Wynns Cat and it is magnificent in every detail. The wiring was done so well that is is an absolute work of art and installed in such a manner as to be very accessable and marked for fast fault location and repairability. .

For safety reasons, it would be perfect if it were an aluminum cat. Aluminum boats are naturally lightning-proof. Or at least have a grounded aluminum mast, which is connected to the keel by an aluminum band.

I like that there is a mid. cockpit. is ther e a way to inclose the winche area like the Windelo ? also I like the endgins and the electrial motors together. Could look in to axial flux motors. They are Lighter and smaller might need to have 2 motors togher for the horse power. Set up in a HH44-OC.

Solar Electric sailboats and motorcycles are the only electric vehicles that make sense with today's tech.10 kw/888 only equals 11 hp. Did somebody forget about friction, heat, and drive train loss? It's is about 888 watts per hp. Length of water line with 11 hp it isn't doing much over 5 knots. Perhaps add super capacitor bank because lithium batteries do heat up and loose power. Super capacitors can run electric motor direct from solar. And skip the power loss by slow charging lithium batteries. Those lithium batteries only cycle so many times. Super capacitor bank cycles millions of times. The super capacitors will cycle so batteries don't and batteries will have less hard cycles. Can you imagine boat lights dimming out because using electric motor. Like when bass hits on a car amplifier and dims headlights.

What separates HH from all others is the inovative design, development and implementation of the regenerative hybrid electical system that was completely documented at every stage - from the ground up by Jason and Nikki Wynn as their HH44OC was being built. The Wynn factory interviews with HH Management, engineers, craft people and sailing technicians often evolved into very intersting tutorials on Cat engineering and construction using carbon fiber. The HH44OC hybrid diesel/electric engines that can generate electrical power while under sail from the HH/Wynns specially tuned spinning propellers is absolute genius. Look for everyone else to implement it. IMO as if 2024, based on cost vs effective value, the HH44OC provides the owner with a great return on their investment.

Very nice good catamaran. Best in class. Having said that, it would be perfect if it was made of aluminum and insulated and made so it can be put on the beach. Then it can also be reused that day long long until it is used up. Plus it is much safer and cannot burn away as it does not have flammable material as it has today.

I was going to ask why there is a hole below the main display, but figured out that is the place to mount a bag to catch the lines coming off the winches. Seems like a good idea. Love the hard top bimini and the integrated glass (or whatever) dodger. I wonder if the helmsman seat is adjustable up and down because when you closed the sliding hatch above the helm station, it looked like you had to tilt your head hard over to fit underneath it. I agree with the other commenters below, beautiful boat!

1 Feb 2024. Nikki and Jason Wynn spent a lot of time researching boats vs their needs and wants for their dream blue water Cat. They have sailed a thousands of miles and decided on buying a new mid size Cat. And then they discoved HH Catamarans.who offered a Hybrid Electric 44 foot with everything on there wish list. The should take delivery this week and we have seen it via their KZread channel "Gone with the Wynns". All you need to know about HH Catamarans is that the Wynns picked them to build their dream. If it perfect for the Wynns that all I need two know. Nikki sold me after she took everyone on a tour of their HH44-OC .
