  Repulsion rules!!! Amazing interview and great references to Flint music scene in its heyday. Who knew these kids would be international darlings. What a time to grow up and be involved with so many interesting characters. Rock on , Scott! Rock on, Michael!! Flint rules!💀🤘🏻Great shout to the immortal Dan Russell. The best part of that show. Dan singing “Old McDonald”. Forever burned into my brain.

  Michael! Scott! Great interview, dudes. Especially nice to hear props given to Bridget "Most Unique '86" Ketchmark & Dan "Secret Weapon" Russell--my first and perhaps only rockstar friend, in the best sense of that overused word. Repulsion/Smiling Krosseyed is still in my top 5 hall shows...really looking forward to seeing you guys in Detroit Thursday. Been far too long! 🤘🏻 And yes, Rock & Rye is the correct answer. 😁

  These guys opened for Janes Addiction in the early '90's. I saw them in St. Paul, MN. I had somehow heard of them before that.

  Thanks for the upload! Have the 7” but never bothered converting to digital, and can’t find it streaming. One of the best bands from the 2000s that never seemed to be on anybody’s radar.

  Saw these 2 guys from Athens, GA in Deep Ellum back in '91. Had a beer with the guitarist & he said he didn't play very well so he just played loud. They were lucky enough to have their record produced by Willie Dixon right before he died. They drove the small crowd wild!
