A partial throwback to electronic music of the 70's and 80's, this dark ambient album was created using analog and digital hardware synthesizers and effects devices, and edited with modern software and VST fx plugins. The music, ranging from foreboding and atmospheric to darkly sinister, evokes the landscapes of a world created over many years for a fantasy RPG campaign with shades of horror.
"Norixias" is, like the rest of the album, part of a score searching for a movie. In the rpg campaign that inspired this track, the scene is the sudden and mysterious disappearance of most arcane magic from the formerly magic-rich world of Eredon. Chaos ensues as spells abruptly fail, magic items become useless, and as the main characters watch in horror, a majestic skyship plunges to the surface with unsettling near-silence.
