The best time tracking tool is management by coffee cup - just connect to each team member and ask them. Transparent, honest, empathetic and non-invasive.

We think things are a lot better today. Let me tell you an experience that I have had The misfortune of going through. I have a disability employer hired me as part of their contract because I worked at the job for many years without any issues. One month into being hired they're trying to build up a paper trail to fire me for my disability. I have to get an attorney and slap the company within an attorney. Then it goes personal. I just found out several years later that the company was literally coming after me personally trying to ruin my life trying to get me fired at another job I was working at. I have not had a single write-up. I haven't had any issues. I haven't had any problems. I show up. I have the best attendance. The client even likes me so I'll. This isn't close to what she was going through. We still have similar issues going on in the world today. Just masked in a different light The one similarity that she had that I have little recourse. Not much can be done to stop. What's going on? Segregation was a horrible thing. Absolutely horrible and I hope we never repeat that

Love this movie and this scene. I grew up in the in the late 50’s and 60’s in Orlando Florida. When there was a NASA launch, they would ring a bell and we would pile outside and watch the rockets take off to the east. But as a white kid, I was blissfully unaware of the struggles of black men and women. I just dreamed of being an astronaut. Fast forward to today and all of the racial bigotry and hatred is behind us. Yes? NO! There are politicians that are fighting to send us back to the old racist ways. All of us - all races, creeds, and colors - need to continue the fight for our freedoms and not let them trash this country. Taraji Henson is great actress who brought Katherine Johnson’s brilliant legacy to life with character and sensitivity. But it is Katherine Johnson is who we should focus on. For America to stay strong and lead, we need every Katherine Johnson we can get. Brilliant people like her lead us forward and reach our destiny.

Growing up in the 50's my two sisters and I were half Filipino and half Caucasian. I remember we were like 5, 6 and 7 years old. We lived in California, which was one of the most progressive states compared to others. We had long beautiful black hair and our mother wanted us to get perms so that our hair had more body and waves. She left us at the beauty shoppe and came back for us 3 hours later - we had all been given afro perms and our hair was cut very short. My mother was furious. She was a 5'0" little blond, blue eyed Texan and I never saw her so mad she was livid - if looks could kill those beauticians would have been dead. That is what I grew up with and I was not black.

I was so phenomenally blessed that I had parents that WOULD NOT TOLERATE racism or sexism of any kind. People were judged by the quality of their character. In 1961 I was 7 years old, old enough to start seeing a few of the flaws of humanity. I also remember the bare shelves of the Cuban missile crisis and my grade school principal Mr. Wright crying as he announced JFK's assassination.

This NEVER happened! Katherine herself said it sort of happened one time to her friend Mary, who got lost in her new building and had go across the street to use the restroom, she found it the next day and they all had a good laugh about it NASA did not enforce the state segregation laws. They were posted as the law required, but where pretty much ignored by most of NASA. In the book "Hidden Figures" Kathrine said she was never poorly treated, that her co-workers viewed her as just another member of the team..the coffee pot incident also, never happen. They both where put in for dramatic effect.

That dressing down of the female character is the most unprofessional I have ever seen. If a boss has a peeve or query of an employee it should be done in private, in a side office not in front of the rest of the workforce. I realise this is a drama but it illustrates unprofessional behaviour

This scene is pure Hollywood fiction and never happened. In interviews Katherine Johnson said that she was treated well at NASA. Only one time did anyone ever say anything about her being ‘black’ and she just ignored the comment. She never had to cross the campus to use the ‘colored’ toilets and didn’t drink out of a separate coffee pot. Racism is real and not bound by a particular skin color. But to exaggerate such a situation for the sake of drama is shameful and only serves to stoke the flames of bias. The bit with John Glenn wanting her to check his re-entry trajectory is true. If you do the research you’ll find Kathrine Johnson calculated the trajectories for Mercury, Gemini, the Apollo Moon and Space Shuttle missions. Irrespective of her gender or ethnic background she had a truly brilliant mind and was a National Treasure... Dorthy Vaughan BTW became a supervisor in 1958 many years before the movie claimed...

Taraji is a Phenomenal actress. Every role she plays she Kills. She is a Blessing and talented actress. I am glad The Honorable Mrs. Katherine Johnson was still alive to see this movie made before she passed. She and the other ladies broke barriers and made history! She was so intelligent and didn't deserve to be treated this way like so many others. So happy Her/their story was brought to life. Who better than Taraji she is Amazing.❤😊😊✨💯🙏

Who is better? I think Octavia Spencer is. She kills every role she plays. Even the extended cameo on the Big Bang Theory. But I do agree, they both tend to own every scene they are in. No matter what show or movie they grace.
