Problem with XBSX Controller, bumper plastic is a little cheap, i have replaced it twice now, but i do snap the right bumper something fierce. other than that the DP is great.

Is it almost if they did not tested all the features on this thing.. So frustrating that they almost broke the d-pad and flipped the layout buttons on the triggers. Not everybody buy them for fighting games. Retro platformers and old pc games are also why we love this design so much.

That unofficial Skyrim patch USSEP almost bricked my game. Caused lag, slow loading times, offset sounds, textures not loading right. Would crash about every 10 minutes. Not all mods are compatible with the unofficial Skyrim patch. My game with the mods I use run 10 times better than that shitty unofficial Skyrim patch. Once I disabled that. No more BS issues. Game ran healthy. USSEP made my game very sick.

the dpad issue not being precise enough also goes back to Dualshock4. Hilarious some cheap Chinese Dualshock2 knock off I got from Amazon with admittedly neat wireless capability via a dongle that fits through USB on PC or Dualshock port on PS1/2 has a far better dpad. Being a Dualshock2 copy it still also has analog toggle button for the sticks. Left stick can turn into dpad-only mode with only the 8 cardinal directions. Amazing. Better than how PS4/5 and Street Fighter handles directional stick. For sure Sony knows the dpad sucks because they fixed the imprecision on PS5 console menu to only allow 1 input.

12:00 6 face button fight pads like that are supposed to played with your whole right hand over the buttons not just your thumb. Kinda like a fight stick.

I used one back in the day before I switched to hitbox, and I preferred using it with my thumb, it's a controller I should not need to claw it, if I need to do that I'd just use my arcade stick or hitbox.

@@OP-er3fg it’s not a claw grip per say, it’s meant to have your whole right hand over the face buttons. This makes the right side of the controller more like a fight stick. There’s some advantages to a 6 face button config, but I think everyone sticks to normal pads because they’re more familiar, and more comfortable. ( additionally there’s some socd tricks you need the left stick to do, which most fight pads don’t have)

@@dandycube yeah but if I'm using a controller, I want to hold it like a controller while in relative comfort on my couch, I'm not about to sit upright and do that odd hybrid grip, I'd just use my stick at that point.

I got this one also, but the travel distance is far too long for me. I would often miss a super or DR cancel. So I am still using my almost 30 yo Saturn 3D pad that shares the same d-pad - just way better. I love the button layout of the power-a a lot and tiger knee inputs work like a charm, but the downsides are just too much. It really stinks, as it is almost a fantastic controller for an affordable price.

I ordered a Razer Raion off ebay 5 days ago, the day you posted this video... it just happened to autoplay after I was watching more reviews on the controller. Thank you! I watched this and immediately ordered that pivot from the Etsy store. I'm glad I did because the controller was an older model and didn't have the pivot! I would have wanted to love this controller so much but know I would have hated it if I didn't see this video. I just put the pivot in and it feels awesome! Thanks again!

Bluetooth when it works feels fine, but when the random drops on bluetooth happen or needing to repair the controller with the bluetooth makes it superior.

Meanwhile some of the best sf6 pro players play on dualsense, one of the best giefs in the world things unironically that the Raion is the best thing ever. You also seem to ignore that some players dont use the dpad and play on analog which you didnt even care to touch. All in all, try different controls until you find something that fits you, third parties dont know sh1t about your personal preferences and sadly, the only way to know a control doesnt fit you is by playing on it

I think with this mod and considering the prices you can get these pads, this is simply he best fightpad that is out there at the moment. You even can use it on a PS5 without adapter. The only thing I would consider a taste thing are the buttons, but the d-pad and shoulder buttons are the best for fighting games I have seen on any pad. (Also the Raion actually had a revision with a pivot, but they do seem to be more scarce then the ones without.) You are right though, how it is mind boggling when you look into the controller and how they could have missed the fact that their controller doesn't have a pivot and that this is a problem. It literally looks like a pivot is supposed to be put in there.

I have to disagree on the Dualsense Edge. I just picked mine up this week for SF6 mainly. While it's an improvement on the original, the issue with the dpad still remains. If you go into practice mode and turn on the input reader, if you wiggle any of the directions for example the down button, you will still consistently get db and df. It would have been nice if they just separated the buttons entirely

Questions; 1) Dualsense / DS edge is PS5’s native controller, why would you even consider using the converter? Understandable for PS4 Dualshock. 2) PS5 licensed controllers do not need this converter as they are also PS5 compatible. 3) Why would people even consider using Xbox controllers to play on PS5😂? Just so you can justify purchasing this converter? Just asking. By the way, your video is one of the few that actually answer the real question regarding Brook Wingman FGC true value. Great job 👍🏼! Keep it up! I have a feeling that you are not a joystick user as all your test used only d-pad controllers. Or maybe missed it. A great video! Keep it up!
