Welcome to my channel! I'm Emily the owner of Emily Paige Company ☺
I launched EPC in the corner of my college bedroom in 2020 while being a full time college student. After I graduated, we decided to move to the city and I continued to grow my business full time in our tiny one bedroom apartment. In 2023, we officially moved into a 5,000 sq ft warehouse to continue to grow + expand! While EPC is primarily online we also vend at many pop up markets in Columbus, Ohio.

✿ I'm a cat mom to 3- a calico named Ivy, a tortoise named Puff & another calico named opal
✿ I love reading mystery/thriller books & I'm a true crime junkie
✿ My favorite food is Macaroni and cheese

On your sweat shirts or T shirts do you design it yourself? Everything is beautiful. The cat ghost one. I did a dog version for my daughter last year. I embroidered it on a towel. I don’t sell anything I just buy files on Etsy. Welcome back great video. ❤ I saw the comment you said people copied. That’s why I was curious did you create the designs. It’s sad people do that.

I just took a 5 week break myself! After back to back markets with 30k+ attendees, I needed a break! After vacation and some thinking through my business, I’m back at it again 💪🏽

awe nooo don’t dread it! yes, sometimes they can be stressful. But they’re a lot of fun!! be positive, have a good day & regardless of sales just remember we all start from someone & having the experience will make you more confident!

@cristishell615 I wouldn't know how to help there, one time I was looking for someone who can make embroidered patches around my city and it was difficult. Maybe if you google your city plus glassware printing 🫤

It felt weird not sharing it… I’ve just been dealing with other business owners copying the products I was sharing & the content format which made me feel very discouraged from sharing. I might share again in the future because I really did enjoy looking back & reflecting on what sold the best!
@@emilypaigecompany That’s too bad! I loved hearing your numbers too. I’m not sure how I would feel about somebody copying my designs. I would imagine customers come to you because you put out a quality product with good customer service. I myself am in the soaping world. Soapers copy each other all the time. But one soaper once said that she couldn’t clean the world and she didn’t mind sharing her designs. It’s all about your personal perspective I guess. Your videos make me better at my own markets. Your numbers give me a goal. They never make me feel bad. If we didn’t have people to look up to we wouldn’t know the levels we could actually attain with our handmade products.❤

Thank you so much!! Both of these events they’ve been around for different steps of my booth over the years & shoppers always comment they love watching the growth. It’s the coolest thing! I actually got it as a freebie from a brand I order wholesale from but I’m sure they’re on Amazon!
How do you get away with putting products outside your tent? Around me ( I live in South East Michigan) all of the shows I do don't allow that, and in the rules say they can make you remove anything outside your booth. Just appreciate that you can. Keep up the good work and thanks for inspiring me to keep going!
I’ve never had an issue! I feel like having a 10x20 I can put stuff in front of the middle because there’s a bar right there and it’s not in the way of other vendor booths. As for the 10x10 booth, specifically at this event I don’t have anyone to the left of me so they let me spill out since my booth gets so busy. When I do have neighbors at events I never spill out onto the sides so I’m still mindful of other vendors around me!

Ya know, I have lived in Lancaster my entire life, have never been since they started, however I love driving by the round barn seasons at the FCF grounds. Going in....sounds fantastic, having my own booth...intimidating, going as a buyer.....NOPE!!! (I would spend too much money)
omg you should totally visit as a shopper for the fall market in September!! 🎃 very rarely do I get to be a shopper at markets but when I do I always take out cash & only spend what I bring (my hack for not over spending haha). Hope to see you there!! 🥰

Of course going through Shopify keeps track of your inventory but they also get a percentage of your profits. How do you price your items o you compensate for that?
It’s a very small percentage compared to other platforms. When pricing your products you should always take into consideration the material, labor, packaging & any other costs.

Your booth and video is lovely. If I may make a suggestion: your focus is really embroidery, but when a customer walks to your booth, the embroidery is not visible on the sweatshirts, etc. Maybe next year you should think about how you display your embroidery especially, for maximum visibility. Thank you so much!! This specific market was different & isn’t how I normally have my layout. It was kind of a weird space at the venue but I’ll be there back in the fall and definitely will have a different layout! Checkout my other videos for my “regular” layout!! :)

Do you keep an eye on your items? You both are at the back of the stall and can't see what is going on in front.
We do the best we can but sometimes my booth gets so busy with me checking customers out and him restocking we can only do so much. unfortunately, theft is just something that I have to account for when doing these bigger events with large crowds. But the good definitely outweighs the bad especially for this market! Also, don’t forget that you’re only seeing short footage from the market. We’re both constantly restocking & going through every order at the market making sure those items are back on the shelves/ racks (I talked about this towards the end).
