I never realised that ATDI did this show. I only remembered them doing Jules Holland. Credit to Chris Evans, this show was always ahead when it came to introducing new acts on the verge of their breakthroughs, no matter the genre.

I know it'll sound like a cliche, but this performance changed my life. I'd never heard of ATDI but like many others went out and bought Relationship of Command the next day, then their entire back catalouge the day after that. Without a doubt my favourite band of all time.

It was just a standard prop on TFI Friday for the live performances. Giant hand holding giant version of their CD cover. I think the intended effect originally was to make it look like a normal sized cover being held at arm's length up to the camera

It's great that this got played on tea time mainstream TV, half past six in the evening on channel 4 (that's a regular free to air channel in the UK). By the way, nobody in The US calls them "the states." It just is weird to me because it seems a lot of European countries, at least, call the US that.
