  Great intentions here but as with every fan movie this one also suffers from lack of pace and action. IT almost feels like one of those old russian movies where action happens every half an hour.

  You guys did a fantastic job. You managed to compress the timeline and keep the main events together in a very creative way. I would bet that you all could have done a much better job of creating Second Age shows for Amazon than Payne and McKay.

  I saw an ilegal DVD copy of this "ilegal" fan film in a little local store in my hometown (Axochiapan, Morelos. México) many many years ago. I thought it was disgusting, so i never found any interest in watching it, just the cover of it was so unconfurtable to watch. Today i am watching this and all i can say is i was WRONG. This was very well made! Congratulations!

  This was actually surprisingly good. You can see that they take proper inspiration from Fellowship of the Ring (the best movie in the trilogy, imo :P)

  The fight scene choreography was surprisingly well done. Actually everything was, the casting, the direction, the pacing. I even loved how Arwen matched Aragorn in that strange way that romantic leads seem to click. The way Liv Tyler and Vigo Mortensen matched on screen. It was all done pretty perfectly. In fact the only thing about it that didn’t age well is the computer animation, aside from that it genuinely holds up as a short film. Well done!

  I am amazed! I had no idea this existed until the article about its removal and return. Seriously impressive work! Hollywood needs to remember how to create like this without all the expensive fanfare.
