Sam you need to go to high Peak in the peak district but if you go along long line, ringing glow in Sheffield there is a very very nice road to drive on and then high peak is what I call the nerve ring off the pet district

She is very cool speaking as an owner of a 1965 Mustang. if you like a land Rover you will like the simplicity and character of a classic yank. Porsche and Ferrari I guess are for people who want the ultimate in a car. Arguably two different extremes so it is a case of different strokes for different folks.

Another top vid Sam! Re the scenery & climate, everyone wants what they Don’t have at home - which makes perfect sense! As an Aussie the last thing I want to see on a trip is a desert in 35c to 40c+, that’s just every summer to me. I want to see mountains, pine forests (not planted ones) & snow. PS I’m going on a road trip soon as well to Eastern Canada & the US . . . . . . . . . In a tour bus & cruise ship 😂🤣 Like you I can’t afford to ship my 458 to the other side of the planet either bugger 😕

I own a GR86 and I am very happy about the brand recognition. If somebody doesn't immediately know what a GR86 is I just say: "It's just a simple Toyota" and change the subject. No use to talk about cars with people who don't know it and only think Porsches are sporty cars 😅😅
Ironically because JDM car prices have gone insanely the Japanese themselves apparently are starting to shift to the Euro scene

I love this girl!!! Been following her for a while now and her whole appeal is how authentic she is and Sam's right it's her personality, big adventures and the odd side plate of anxiety and despair. Almost like a popular old TV show we all love. Also how grenadier haven't snapped her up as an ambassador is beyond me!
Love these old car stories, they bring us together irrespective of background. I had an old Alfa Sud that only I could start and would cut out randomly. When the mobile mechanic was needed to balance the carbs I had to drive him on the test drive because the gear change was so bad and there wasn’t enough room to operate the pedals in work boots.

I was listening as a podcast. I am sorry but I could only listen for 6 minutes. It just sounded like posh noise with a bin man shouting every so often.
Have watched STG videos since the xj220 but 1st time watching the podcast, only due to Tati tbh, would be good to see some bluetit on somewherewilder style youtube vids!
She and her sister are really good at what they do. It's also good to see a female not totally scantily clad and just being an honest person.

I think Red Bull have simply stopped development on this year's car which has allowed the others to catch up. The budget rules are so tight, so why upgrade the current car that will probably win the championship when they can focus on next year? Ferrari and Merc did the same thing in their dominant periods.
