    I've pulled the rear wheel back to out tension in the chain. But now the rear brake pads hit the tire instead of the tire's rim because the rim isn't flush into the slot. If i put the rim flush into the slot, then the chain is too loose. Any advice? Thanks.

    Hi Martin, if the pads are touching the tyre, you can slide them up the caliper using the 5mm nut on the back of each pad. You can see how to do this here. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fGiawdxwda7Rlrg.html

    Agree on the comments here. Although great that the bike can convert, it’s a major design floor that the jump in height of child required from no pedals to pedals is too great. So when the child is ready to convert (around 3 years old), the switched version of the bike is sized for a 4 or 5 year old. A shorter seat post is available that apparently remedies this, but you shouldn’t have to buy extra parts to fix a fundamental design floor in the bike’s unique selling point.

    What size are the two silver bolts that go into the pedal post? They were missing out my kit.

    Hi Duncan, they are a standard size M6 bolt and need a minimum thread length of 40mm. Please reach out to us on our email or whatsapp and we can get a set to you if they were missing from your kit.

    This looks intriguing, what's the advantage of switching this round over just raising the saddle?

    Thanks. So by flipping the back of the bike, it makes the seat tube 10cm taller, and as the head and seat angle changes, the effective arm reach becomes 5cm longer. It also gives us the ground clearance to fit the pedals, which would not be possible if the frame was fixed. You can see the geometry of the bike here www.littlebigbikes.com/sizing-guide/

    Hi There, many kids will have grown into the taller saddle height before being ready to progress to pedals. However if your little one is ready to pedal but still too small, you can purchase a short seatpost from our spare parts page. www.littlebigbikes.com/shop/spare-parts-for-littlebig-bike/ This allows the saddle to be lowered to 47cm while in pedal mode.

    @@segunpalmer1629 If you make sure the cables are not twisted around one another. The rear brake cable should come out of the left brake lever and directly into the hole in the frame. If they are twisted, remove the handlebars (like during the initial assembly), unravel the cables then re-fit the bars. Can you send me a photo of the brake lever adjustor to [email protected]. You can also whatsapp photos via the button on the home page.

  • @littlebigbikes1300
    @littlebigbikes13003 жыл бұрын

    If you loosen the brake cable using the silver barrel adjustor at the brake lever. First rotate the larger locknut anticlockwise, then turn the smaller inner barrel clockwise. This will loosen the cable and allow the noodle to be freed. Once you have done the conversion, turn both adjustors back into their original position. Hope that helps but if not please send an email via our contact page.

    These bikes are amazing we have two one for our 4 year old and one for our 3 year old. They love them. After a while they were begging for us to put the pedals on and they were cycling in under 9 minutes amazing - they have a confidence that they never would have if they had traditional bikes with stabilisers.

    Thanks Simon, he loves it, have some greats vids of him on it. The bike has worked a little too well. Our 3yr old is cycling with the pedals already. Is there any way we can get a shorter seat post for the saddle as it it a little high for his legs? We are based in Dun Laoghaire.

  • @littlebigbikes1300

    Hi Jared. That's great that he's taken to the pedals so quickly! We don't have any shorter seat-posts but if you trim the one you have to the desired length with a hacksaw, you can buy a replacement through our shop for when he's taller.
