Over time, I have had a couple of in my opinion, good ideas but failed to execute because I was thinking too big and capital was too intense watching this makes me think start smaller and just start. Our Business tried to use Relay and the experience wasn't pleasant. Their response times to inquiries take several days. We had an issue where we accidentally deposited a check for another business in the account and they froze the check. They requested some verification and we sent in everything they requested but it took multiple follow up emails and 3 weeks to resolve the issue. We requested they close our account after this and send us a check for the balance in our account. We were told it would take 60 days to get the check. I think the problem is the communication between Relay and the partner bank they use, but for us it's not worth the trouble.
I've been using Relay for a while now. For my ecom brand and my personal brand. I genuinely believe they are the best. I've done a lot of searching. I've used over 10 banks. None of them come close. One big reason is Profit Frist. I use the Profit First accounting method. means i need to open multiple checking accounts. Relay is very friendly with that and will help you. Most other banks wont allow it including the big ones. The staff are friendly, the tech is good and the setup process is easy. Relay is my favorite place to do business banking.
