What about FUTA deposit?

I am a senior and earn $240 gross per week at my part time job here in South Dakota. Is that enough for them to garnish my wages? I just received a summons from Jefferson Captiol, but it doesn't look like they've actually filed it yet.

Does not make sense, you have credited the tax account two times and only debited it once????
@irgjdp Жыл бұрын
Hi. She debited it twice but with different accounts names. Remember the employer pays everything but they have to differentiate the EE expenses and the ER expenses. In the EE expenses she included everything ( Wages, EE taxes and other deductions ), which is correct, and for the ER expenses she also included the taxes, but this time the ones the ER will pay including FUTA and SUTA. I really hope this helps 🙂

Hi. This is getting paid to the IRS once a year using the form 940 to report the data. The journal entry is the same as the others. Debit the FUTA Payable and Credit the Cash once it is paid. I hope this helped 🙂
