Japanese games are masterpieces.

Many Japanese "RPG games and mystery games" are masterpieces with stories as great as those in movies.

However, many lesser-known works are not well known, especially abroad, as few are sold as international editions.

In this channel, we will focus on Japanese "RPG games and Mystery games" and will tell you how great they are.

    Regarding the confirmation of the Hyne theory, is it correct to say that in lore what remains of him in the human world is simply his skin? When considering the final form of Ultimecia (or Hyne), the design strongly suggests that the Ultimecia/Rinoa entity at the bottom is junctioned to that skin as the face is empty, so the body. Really interesting and opening eyes video ❤

  • @JapaneseGames007
    @JapaneseGames0072 күн бұрын

    Thanks for comment. I don't think there was any mention of skin. The legend simply says that the upper half of the body disappeared and the lower half came into human hands.

  • @prosieniec
    @prosieniec2 күн бұрын

    @JapaneseGames007 that's quite intriguing. It appears there may have been a mistranslation from Japanese to English. In the English translation, for some strange reason, they translated "Hyne half" to "skin". There is theory about Hyne half being Hein from FF3, and Japanese source makes it a little bit invalid, as Hein is depicted as a skeleton and therefore does not "lack the skin". But their spelling in English, Hyne and Hein, is still the same.

  • @prosieniec

    I wish games were developed with such complex story and hidden plots. The Sorcerer powers inheritance is like "what is first ,the egg or the chicken". Good theory. I have theorized before that the shadow in Obel lake was related to hyne because he was saying something about a village in centra but it was only ruins. And that the ''Power'' sorceress needed to pass to ''survive'' was Hyne's other half.

  • @JapaneseGames007

    I think that is a possible hypothesis. By the way, I got an interesting hypothesis from this comment section. The theory is that "Golbez", who appears in FF4, and "Zebarga", who is thought to be the upper body of the Ultima Weapon, are the same person. The alphabet of Zebarga has not been made public, but Golbez written backwards becomes Zebarga, and both are people associated with the moon. However, I think it's unlikely that Zebarga & Golbez are the same person, and I think the naming was just a playful choice on the part of the production staff(Haha)

    Great video! Could the upper body of Ultima Weapon (Zebalga) be Golbez from FF4? If spelled backwards, "Golbez" becomes "Zeblog", which sounds a little bit like "Zebalga"...Could both words be anadromes in japanese? 🤔 When the old man in Balamb tells the story of Hyne to his grandchild, there's a picture of a whale in the background...If Zebalga is Golbez...Could that be a reference to the Lunar Whale in FF4? 🤔

    I think this explanation removes the need for the Rinoa = Ultimecia theory to explain the story. Rinoa and Squall are only humans, but they are similar to the two halves of Hyne. Just like Hyne needs to fuse with a human, Squall and Rinoa try to live apart, but they're meant to be together. When Rinoa is in a coma, Squall carries her a great distance, basically becoming her legs. When Squall is lost in compressed time, he can't find his way and loses his strength. Then it's Rinoa who has to carry him, using her wings. I always loved this game but much of the story was hard for me to understand, especially as a kid. Thank you so much for this video.

There are similar connections between FF7 and FF10, so clearly, it is not outside the realm of possibility that every so often, Square tries to connect some of the main games. The world building is weird (not you but FF8). Because initally you have a different concept, perspective and visualisation of Hyne. But as you trailblazed through the newly aquired information, It started to change the aforementioned. In the end I do agree... This Hyne, was the ruler of the Moon. Or atleast fought for the position and won, as it said in the lore (not specifically but generally). I was initially thinking it was GFs besides the monsters on the moon (origins story of that lol?), it was fighting. Before watching this video, l thought the love story element was also with Hyne aka creator of humans. And that being split itself for different reasons and journey's but eventually fated to find each other and reunite (similar to V and Demon Vergil in DMC5), as one or in matrimony. So, I was thinking Rinoa being the upper and Squall being the lower and eventually coming together as one, due to their Love. This would kinda reflect with Ultimacia (Rinoa/upper) junctioning (attaching) to Griever (Squall/lower) and why they were fated is because of them being hijacked by hyne. But then I watched your video and Hyne wasn't so benevolent but quite malevolent lol. I wonder whats beyond the Moon as it seems the place for where there was no time etc? Is those Island in FF8; Hell on Earth is it called? Any connections to this whole theory as an adjunct of the Tears of the Moon? Thanks for the excellent video. As a kid, none of this was really apparent lol.

    I tend to revise on KZread any new FF8 lore; especially this theory from time to time... And damn, you've smashed the ball out of the park with this one. Interesting and unique analysis. I never seen or thought about before. Added a lot to comtemplate. Are you native JP/Eng or other btw? You know the creators of FF8 may have intentionally made it this way or not is always up to debate. But there's a phenomenon in reality called: "synchromysticism". While it has many definitions and perspectives; I believe it is the underlining WILL of the Universe; "Truth" playing a role (as it is inherent in all things), to awaken our Consciousness (observers/participators = us), through various mediums especially artistic. And is the Truer message of what THAT Art form may have meant from the Artist. Its there to show us that we need to do, remember who we are, decode falsehoods, awaken and re-align our understanding to the underlying principles, the Laws of the Universe and our intimate conversation between us and the Creator. I think this theory and more just enhances the entire FF8 experience. Its basically saying: "Love Transcends All" or as a fellow researcher says: "Infinite Love is the Only Truth. Everything Else is Illusion"... Earnt a Sub! Will check your other stuff out. Thanks!

    Thanks for comment. Kitase, who was the director of FFVIII, initially denied this theory. But, he later recanted his denial, and screenwriter Nojima commented, "It's amazing how the fans' thoughts end up creating something more interesting than the story I wrote". In the subsequent SQUARE (SQUARE ENIX), you can't miss the fact that "FFDC" includes a story inspired by fan theories. Based on what SQUARE ENIX has done, I think FFVIII is the right choice no matter how you enjoy it.
